That was my concern it being more hold sensitive, but if it is tuned by the man himslef no doubt this will not be a problem, its a great looking rifle and will come in handy purley as a hunting rifle.
Nice rifle, you will have to keep us informed on how it gets on and your veiws, as i am looking into getting one come x mas time, also how it compares to the 97 and weight wise, as that would be my ownly concern the lightness of it compared to a Tx.

Thanks, yes that will be the next stage, weighing the pellets and buying a range finder i think, im not gong to say it was a hard job on the ferrals in the barns though they seem to sit tight and not take flight when there mates are dropping, mainly as there was next to no light at a guess.
Many Thanks.
Yes he is, only knew him 5 mins yet could spend all day there, thanks for the offer i will be up sometime in the next few months so will let you know, atb Ben
Tell you what Craig, I'm thinking of an HW80 project I'd like Tony Wall to tune for me. When I come down I'll PM you in advance. It would be great to meet you over a civlising cup of tea and talk shooting.
Regards.
Simon
Well he is honnest for a start and said he could tune it but he said i would not realy notice much difference, so i just had it serviced so with an new spring and lube along with the trigger set up has seemed to work for me, dont get me wrong it was a great rifle before but it dose seem smoother now, and passed the pellet on top of the scope turret while firin
Got my TX200 back from Tony at Sandwell Feild Sports Last week, first time i met him as he was away when i dropped it of, but what a guy had a tea and came to the conclusion that i would get a HW95 Tuned from him around X Mas, had a great chat!.
I had the trigger tuned / set up and just a regular service from him for a great price, and belive it or not you can notice the difference less twang for a start and a much crisper trigger!
He set it up on Air Arms Diablos and chronoed when i got home and there was only 9fps variant out of the first 20 shot string so pretty good and not even bedded i
My highlight was unless its going to smash your face to bits its not powerfull........ that is a far more accurate way of testing a guns power who needs a chrono when you can judge the power on how well it splits your face open haha!.
Air Arms TX200 MK3 HC .177 R/H
Bought late Last Year
Was serviced by Tony at Sandwell Feild sports Last Week
Average of 795 FPS on Air Arms Diablo Feild
Has one mark on the bottom of the pistol grip as shown in pic and blueing is fine, 9/10
Reason for sale is ordering a HW95 Tunned from SFS.
£255 Collection or + P+P / Fees, which you will have to arrange your own courier at your own risk.
No daft offers as i will just PX
Many Thanks.
Good point, from china, so probably better to pick a different seller, as it is possible to get stung with import tax or returning to china if it is faulty, not the best example! But thats the one i have.
No i admit you dont need a 1600 or even a 1000, but i use the torch for other things, and its never on full wack you can dimm it and bring the zoom down to suit, its just a cheap way of doing things rather than buying a deben kit or something.

I managed to get a new cree 1600 lumen handheld torch and a scope mount for it on ebay for around £20 all in and it works better than my mates deben stlye one which i think is only 600 lumen, only thing is i dont have a pressure switch but its a cheap way of getting the job done.
Glad im not the only one who gets wound up by others, and there is always an impatient one asking if the ferret is lost or stuck and why is nothing happening in the first two min, far easier to go on my own.
Yeah, i wouldnt leave it overnight, some rabbits will move out, but if do it first thing in the morning, and net them then move on, its not rare to come back to a rabbit in a net that bolted to move on.
When i have to clear stuff like that, i will do it first thing in the morning, net it up and move on then come back towards the end of the day and go through it, not sure what others would suggest, but that has always worked for me.
