Had a day off today and took the hmr out for some zero checking and paper punching at different ranges. It was nice to actually put some rounds thru it, something i've not had much chance to do for a long while.
After 60 rounds, I was getting some half decent groups from 50 to 150 yards (well pretty ragged at 150 yards - more practise needed!) cloverleaf to 5p coin size which I was pleased with. If I didn't focus properly on my technique, the groups opened right up.
The scope on my hmr is a cheapie JSR 4-16 x 50. Its done OK, but I feel its time to upgrade to something a bit more decent.
