  1. And people wonder why 90 % of the greatest sporting dog in the history of canine existence...................................has become a useless lump of shit good for nothing but " being a nice pet " Seeing as you dont know me, or my wife or what we do with our 'pets', that seems a bit of a brave gobshite thing to say.
  2. So why did the dude leave catterick? What a tease!
  3. Went out with my mate Dale for a roost shoot today as he was banging on about this new roost he'd got permission on with "literally thousands pouring into it". To cut a long story short, we were there for 2 hours and saw a few really high flocks passing over but next to nothing coming in. We did toast a couple of crows, and one hapless pigeon that happened along at the wrong time. What I got most of was back and neck ache from staring up for ages. Still, it would be called bagging instead of hunting if we filled our boots every time wouldn 't it? As a consolation, there were thousand
  4. Good going cookie! I've plenty of rape on my permissions, but the pigeons never seem that interested - no flightlines at all! Talk about bad luck At least you're getting some good sport mate - well done ATB Duncan
  5. Knowing my luck, I know which one I'd end up with. I feel left out, wish I had a stalker. Will just have to settle for my schizophrenia .
  6. They make great pets if you take them away from what they know and were bred for you mean .....................use a dog for the qualities it was bred and you wont go far wrong.......if you want a great pet, look for a breed of dog with a reputation as great pets.....not a breed of dog bred for athletic performance in combat. The problem was never inexperienced owners, the problem has always been owners with a lack of common sense PBT' s make great pets, provided the owner treats them correctly and makes sure they know their place. In fact, I've promised my wife that she can have a grey on
  7. I wouldnt buy a green car or motorbike
  8. Just an adendum; every dog I've ever had has sampled shit as a pup, been told to 'leave' it firmly and learnt not to eat it. Dogs digestive systems are not the most efficient, so there will be the smell of undigested or semi digested food in the stools. Smells enticing to uninitiated pups! Cat digestive systems are even less efficient than dogs, so cat dookies smell even nicer to pups. Totally agree that Bakers is poor quality, overpriced dog food.
  9. Like the Rocket III on paper, but can't find one that doesnt look gay. Can't imagine flicking it round traffic or the twisties. Filtering thru gridlock?

  14. Came to us a snappy, yappy, bitey disobedient little shite! Fixed it, showed the owners how, sent it back Not my cuppa tea as dogs go, but pleasant enough once trained.
  15. black one looks naughty - keeps being throttled!
  16. The dogs behaviour needs addressing and re-directing. Did your wife grab it by the scruff and pin it down til it submitted and stopped kicking? My gut says that you are the alpha male a (as it should be) but it maybe that your mrs is kind hearted and doesn't assert her dominance enough as her place in the pack. Obviously this is just speculation on my part as I'm not there to see whats going on If you've got someone good close by who can assess the dog and show you how to turn the behaviour around, then re-homing or euthanasia is not necessary. If we had room in our pack for it to live,
  17. So we seem to be talking anywhere between 70p and £1.50 a pop. Thanks all. Duncan
