  1. Sounds like a good round - will have to see if I can locate some here. Cheers Duncan
  2. 'Anyone saying they zero a rimmy at 120yrds or whatever, doesn`t shoot much lol' only their mouth off
  3. Good agancy's, bad agency's. I used to run a Driver Hire branch and we ran it as a good honest agency with some decent customers and good drivers. I did hear a lot of horror stories about other agencies. So as a previous poster said, its a worth a punt and if things line up, it will be good for you.
  4. Just waiting for another tool to come along and say he zeros at 120 and shoots rabbits to 200 with one.
  5. only works with male piss - there's a smell of testosterone which they fear. Male dog piss works too.
  6. re-load shotgun carts with rice and give em a dose
  7. Rather you than me lol! Good luck to you - your earning your rewards mate
  8. If you were closer then you'd be welcome to try mine. I have a CZ452 in comparison which is a heavier rifle with a heavier barrel but I almost always prefer to pick up the Browning because its a light rifle which I can carry around. That's very kind of you mate
  9. Yeah - the HMR For feck's sake lets not broach the pro's/cons of the two though... again might just lapse into a coma I didn't actually mean that by 'I expect the right tool will be among shortly' lol!
  10. How did you take them down?
  11. Even off a solid surface, you should cushion the fore end with your hand. Effectively like a supported free-hand shot.
  12. What kind of groups were you getting with it? I had an old, well-worn .22 that I could put pellet on pellet with it at 35 yards
  13. zero at 55 yards, don't really push it past yards. IMHO its not really the right tool for much further than that. I expect a right tool will be along shortly though
  14. Roost time can be very good too. Its a case of sitting tight for about 30 seconds after they land before you fine tune your aim - they are extra wary for the first half minute after they land. 97K - excellent rifle, so accuracy shouldn't be a problem
  15. Fun times in the mud! Title got me there for a minute; typo made me think you had a damaged barrel on your gun, not scraping the barrel of the ferreting time lol!
  16. CZ511 semi auto - looking to get a HW60J to match my hmr
  17. They must certainly have been more interested than they were for us on saturday. Nice going mate!
  18. So far, 1 vote for Muay Thai
  19. Your exploits with rimfire sound incredible Rich, maybe I should get more rimfire practise when I upgrade to a high quality bolt action? If I had an area where the average range was 100 yards, I'd definitely be on it with hmr and the .22 would stay in the cabinet.
  20. Mighty Mouse. In through Supermans nostril and pull his brains out
