Completely agree. I once had a fox who's eyes seemed to shine back green eater than an orangey red. Had to check it several time to make sure I was aiming at the right species! 75 quid for me to pay if I shoot a sheep by mistake! -

Just started killing/dressing/hanging/butchering sheep myself in the last few weeks - strangely satisfying! I let the cleaned carcass hang for 10 days at about 4 degrees C though to let the enzymes work on the collagen, tender!

This was the thing that worried me, the attitude of Derbs admin. "She" had a very dissmisive attitude towards her "colleaque", the initial enquiries person I spoke to, and rubbished the advice I had been given by him. She then went on to suggest by the time the FEO had come out to visit, the descision would already have been made by in her words, "admin" and I can only assume she was classed as admin.
