    Hi guys n gals, just looking for some good book recommendations. I've read John Lewis-Stempels 'The Wild life' which is an excellent read about how he set about living for a year just on wild food. In fact I finished it and immediately re-read it! I also liked 'The amateur poacher' by Richard Jefferies written in 1889 if memory serves. Also a good read and you suddenly realise how much our little island has changed and also how little people have changed. Can anyone recommend further reading in a similar vein? thanks all! Duncan

    In fact if you're up for it and ever down Buckinghamshire way, you can come and put some rounds thru it - try before you buy Cheers Duncan, what you rekon then, nice piece of kit - worth the money? I'll be selling my HW100 to fund it Its very subjective really, but you've only got to pay the price once, then you've got a stunning rifle for life. If I had my time again, I'd still without hesitation buy the HW again.

    I had a couple of CZ's and the trigger wasn't that bad. Not a patch on the HW though. I also had a go with a couple of CZs with trigger kits fitted - an improvement but still not as good as the Weihrauch unit IMHO.

    Vote UKIP, they'd only be in power for one term but it would make quite an impact!

    Try some stables - they seem to be most favourable to bunny bashers. Go smart in person and introduce yourself, be polite and ask nicely. Strike up a conversation and go chilled and pleasant. You will get 'no's', but once you've got one and make an impact on bunny numbers, others will come too, by word of mouth. Good luck!

    I am more than a touch shocked that nobody reported her to the police for threatening behaviour with any kind of firearm or air rifle. I can't imagine for one second getting away with threatening anyone with a gun. I'd be in the clink before you could say 'risk-taker'.

    Silly place to put a h, I nearly had it Only the krauts lol! Since the Rechtschreibreform (reforming spelling in the german language), there are now some compound nouns that actually have 3 's' in a row. Unbelievable! Back to the rifles they make though - anyone who wants to try before they buy can come and have a go on mine (que: 'If only you were nearer'! comments).

    Weihrauch lol! In german it means 'incense'. I'd certainly recommend at least having a go with one!
