  1. You're in for a treat Deri
  2. Some seriously good shooting there pal. Well done and great shot placement! Looks like a very purposeful outfit you have there ATB
  3. Well decided to pop out again tonight. Had a play on Chairgun this afternoon and found that with the scope on x10 magnification if I zeroed my rifle at 35m each mil dot beneath would represent 5m increments all the way out to 55m. Arrived on the perm, zeroed the combo in a couple of minutes with the combro attached, averaged 596ft/sec with the Li's  and headed out into the field. Had quite a few opportunities to take the small ones but they were gracefully left - would be a shameful waste. In the end decided to opt for this fella He was just below the brow of a hill and
  4. Not a lot in your favour there pal!
  5. Surely the perfect rifle for your channel Si?!..
  6. Thanks Si, bit of practice as you say. I'm due to get my 1985 HW77K back from Dave Hall this week. Its had one of his Full Monty tunes so will be concentrating on my springers for a while then. Get rid of a few bad habits too By the way, haven't forgotten your offer to meet up for a shoot and to do some filming for VerminhuntersTV. As soon as get some leave from work I'll give you a call and we'll sort something out. Had a few goes with my digital camera and seben scope mount but not too impressed. Should have opted for a video camera like your setup ATB
  7. Hi Lewis, yeah I reckon a badger too. I've only got around 22 acres but my permission is surrounded by other farmland so the liklihood of a set is very high. Nice easy digging too, hence all the rabbits! ATB
  8. Thanks Ste, yeah just nice to be off work and out ATB
  9. Worth a trip out to see that Stealthy
  10. Hi Stevo, fox or possibly badger.. I'm edging towards badger for no reason other than the large flattening of the grass in the second picture. I've seen those before when the cubs are playing and rolling about. Could be wrong though
  11. Day off work and got up at 5.30am to feed our 5 month old, who had been quite happy chunnering away to herself for 20 mins. Whilst up I took a peep out of the blinds.. Drizzle! Sod it I thought, I'll have a wander out with gun anyway. Feed done, breakfast had, I arrived on the perm at 6.30am to see a half grown rabbit scutter down the hedgeline and into its burrow underneath the Hawthorn. Mmm I thought, might not be a waisted journey.. Rifle out, waterptoof jacket on (New Zealand Swazi ) I made my way around the corner of the garden only to be spotted by a 1/4 grown rabbit feeding on
  12. Sorry lads, uploaded from my phone - must be an automatic setting. Now rectified Just got back in from another trip out to the permission. Drew a blank and got piss wet through
  13. What calibre rifle is your HW100? Mine is in .22 and the ft/lb is around the same as yours but consistancy slightly better but that can simply be down to pellet choice. What pellets are you using? I have found Daystate Rangemaster Li's to be the most consistant If you've got a .22 I'd seriously suggest trying a tin..
  14. Excellent write up and pictures Mawders what a cracking spot, paradise indeed when you are free to roam, rifle in hand, over such beautiful grounds. Love the Superten BBK by the way, I remember drooling over those when they first came out. What calibre have you got and are they as good to shoot as they look?
  15. Fantastic write up I've been a .22 HW100KT owner for around 2 years now and its never missed a beat. With the right pellets I can pile them on top of one another at 45m Loves Rangemaster Li's so much I've ordered x10 tins from BAR.. expecting delivery tomorrow! Glad you're keeping it anyway ATB
  16. Nice one. The HW100 looks great, what stock is that you've got?
  17. Nicr shooting, looks like you've got your hands full with the rabbit population there! Hi Mawders, looks like hold-under was needed for the first two shots, perhaps they were closer than his desired zero. ATB
  18. Nice shooting. It must be great to be able to work with your dog and achieve results. Must be very satisfying Glad you nailed the magpie too ATB
  19. What happened to your Webley 10 shot pcp Mike? My brother has the AAS200 with the aftermarket AA 10 shot rotary magazine. Really good, accurate rifle. Just needs a Tench reg adding to squeeze more shots out of it. We only fill to 160 Bar at the moment to make sure we're in the sweet spot
  20. Fantastic shooting as usual Si, some nice long range shots there with the .22
