  1. Hi Simon, yes I believe they are available. I put up a post on BBS and landed this one. Its got lovely looking grain for a beech stock too The HW100KT has taken the backburner since I got it back. Its been in our family since new so its kinda a special gun for me.. I rescued it from my grandfather's barn on the farm 12 months ago. Here's how it looked before .
  2. I have a Dave Hall tuned 25mm 1985 HW77K. I like it a lot
  3. Like new but without original packaging! This package would cost over £200 new and I'm only asking for £.00 collected or the buyer can pay postage of their preference. Also have a selection of games for sale at between £3 - £5 each. Same principle applies with regards to collecton or postage. Paypal (gift or pay paypal fees) or cheque accepted. Also includes x2 remotes, nunchuck and steering wheel
  4. Cheers lads, its a gorgeous rifle now. Lovely grain on the beech stock. Collin Molloy at MAG gave it a reblue around 12months ago and after the tune and upgraded HW97K stock its better than a new rifle. I'm a very proud owner
  5. Well done, I read that article yesterday and it was very good. What a bag of rabbits and what a great permission! Mike, have you submitted articles too?
  6. Our six month old had me awake at 5am this morning kicking the crap out of her flimsey travel cot! God I thought, I can't wait until we move into the new house! Moving from rental to rental just doesn't warrant buying furniture but a solid wooden cot would be very handy right now! I looked out of the blinds to see a blue sky! Weather had been awful of late so rather than waste the morning I decided to nip out to my local permission and put the newly tuned HW77K against some rabbits. I arrived on the permission at around 6am and immediately noticed that the birds had also taken advantag
  7. Great shooting Si, Tony has done a marvelous job by the looks of things. Like I said the other night, it should give me something to compare my Dave Hall tuned .22 HW77K to By the way, glad you too thought the cocking effort hadn't been reduced, thats the first thing I noticed with mine. Must be the way they tune 'em
  8. Nice group Flow, great to see such a beautiful rifle is performing just as well mechanically. Yes thats correct re FAP/JSB RS.. but watch how the groups open up after 35yds with a slight breeze Great pellet sub 30yds though
  9. Persistance mate........just keep at them and it will happen and all will fall into place I think you're right Stevo and from what I have read of Mike's he's not the type of person to let a few obstacles get in the way. Comes accross very articulate and intelegent, certainly one of the best contributers on this forum. I'm sure if he puts his mind to it he'll be able to get sorted
  10. Anyone from up north travelling down the M6? I'm in Lancaster and happy to contribute towards fuel costs?..
  11. Dropped off the Viper today, Digi Nite Eye should be here by Saturday
  12. Hi Dave, I use x10 but recently dropped to x7 with the Viper
  13. I asked that very question on his latest YouTube vid. His clothing seemed to blend in very well indeed
  14. Hey Elliott, the scope is bang on mate but I have started to notice the side parallax knob is becoming stiff and crunchy. I will be taking it back to the gun shop if it gets any worse but for now it ain't bothering me too much. I hope this bloody wind disappears I am wanting to get out for a bit later on. Smokey Hope you get it sorted John they aren't a cheap scope! Looks like you can shoot very well with it mind
  15. Sorry, I thought it was Sweeny Todd, not smokey!
  16. Nice shooting Bill, I notice in the descripton of the video that you've got an MTC Genesis. How do you find them, are they as good as the marketing makes out?!
  17. Good stuff, might save a bit more if I sell the Viper privately and buy the Hawke from BAR who appear to be advertising them at £185! Bit of messing about too.. might try to haggle a but more off the scope and trade in at my local gun shop
  18. Anyone got one? Just looked through one at my local gun shop and asked them to order me a 4-16x50 10x half mil dot Looked so much better than my Viper and no whitening which I seem to experience with my Viper on high mag. The scope's up for £219 new and I'll need to contribute £70 if I trade in my Viper - what do you think? Main reasons for swapping it are I prefer the reticule on the Hawke and I like the Chairgun software that's compatible with the Hawke range
  19. Popped to the indoor range tonight to fine zero my .22 HW100KT at 23m after watching Si's 3 shot calibration vids. Around 4 clicks right were needed on the Viper (1/8 MOA). Here's the 7 shot group. Note the how the .22 Rangemaster Li deformed after hitting the metal back plate, also the size difference between the flat pellet and fresh one out of the tin! Ouch, wouldn't want to be a rabbit!
  20. I don't think so Elliott buddy. Dont quote me 100% but I think the software will not be written for the mamba reticule. The mildot and all Hawke reticules ie the SR6, SR12, MAP6, Map8, half mildot and cross bows etc work perfectly. If you really take the time with the calibration the results are staggering. I went out today after I had done the full calibration yesterday and didnt look at the data. I then set out targets at work from 10 to 55 metres as i know what 5m and 60 metres are. I shot at each target which was a card and calibrated my mildots the old way at each targ
  21. Great video Si, very well put together. Would this technique not work with MTC Vipers? I thought they were a generic mil dot on x10 mag. If not I'd be tempted to swap my scope!
