Not sure on the HW's. Have fitted one to my MKII TX200 and that was a doddle and I'm one of the least mechanically minded blokes going!! I found the instructions simple to follow. Regarding the performance I dont think you will be dissapointed! Look forward to seeing your thread! Mikey.

Hi Jim, Depends how much you want to splash out mate. There are a few outstanding craftsmen out there, and the price usually reflects that. I owned a Ginb stock on my TX200 and found it absolutely fantastic. http://www.ginb.it/s...p?lang=en&id=13 If I remember these are the best part of £300 so not cheap. I have recently purchased a Hornet single shot which has the same cocking system. Thought I would find loading it a royal pain in the arse, but dont mind it to be honest. Must say for £250 its a lot of rifle for the money! Its regged, a pleasure to shoot, and is pellet on pellet now its had a good pull through! Looking forward to getting out with it! I have also a custom made stock coming for it so will get a few pics up for you lot to droole over when its here!! Mikey.

Hi Villaman, I have had my S400 HFT rifle regged. It was perfectly consistant and accurate before, the reason I had it regged was to get rid of the powercurve and increase usable shot count. . I just wanted the POI to be the same on shot 1 as it would be on shot which it now is! Its an awesome rifle, literally pellet on pellet at 25yds and prob further. The s400 is the joint most accurate rifle I have owned / own, I have a Steyr LG100, they seem to be on a par! The down side is cost. Hi Mate, I see from your thread you may be interested in an R10. I have one for sale its a belter and customoised a lot. It has been tuned by Tench so extremely reliable, cover on the buddy bottle, adjustable cheek piece, and a silencer. Could include a rifle slip and mil-dot scope for £550. I can't dismiss it out of hand because I have no personal evidence that it works/does not work but I respect others choice to use it if it gives them confidence. I have never cleaned a barrell (airgun) properly in 40 years of shooting. I rely totally on the skills I have picked up in that time and I just need to reduce the things I have to worry about before going into competition. I started HFT shooting in January and if I listened to everyone who provides an opinion on what's right or wrong I would never pick up a gun for fear of something going wrong. Hi Si, When I brought my current batch of JSB's I weighed a tin of pellets and they ranged from 8.2gn to 8.6gn. I shot a ten shot group of five of the lighter and five of the heavier. It was at 45yds, I cant remember the group size but it wasnt noticeably distinguishable from the others! Maybe if it was increased to 55yds it would probably open up. As I shoot HFT, 45yds is the max I shoot out to. Each to their own I guess!! Mikey.

Hi Skot, I do a lot of competition shooting and mainly shoot straight from the tin. Dont get me wrong many wash, lube, weigh size etc, but I am more than happy with my groupings at full distance. I shoot 30 pellets in a comp and just give them a damned good looking at! Check for skirt and head damage. If im not happy it gets binned. Im pretty sure if I miss its down to me and not my equipment (unfortunately no excuses to fall back on!). Kindest Regards, Mikey.

Hi Paul, Some manufacturers leave a film of oil, or light grease in the bore. I presume this is to stop any corrosion etc whilst sat on the shelf. Could be worth pulling it through,or firing a few felt pellets through it until the felts or patch come out clean. A handy tip is use Swan Slimline Cigarette Filters instead of felt pellets! I tend to buy ex surplus cammo. German flecktarn works a treat on my main permission. I can be kitted out in full goretex, gloves, face veil in winter, or lightweights in summer for about £30. The money saved goes towards pellets! Mikey.

Hi All, Not hunting related but I thought I waould share anyways! As I mentioned over the weekend I took part in a National HFT comp over the weekend. Last week I spent a lot of time preparing my kit and my technique. Testing pellets, plotting trajectory, practicing in wind and come Sunday it payed off for me. The countrys best shots were in attendance and as I shot in the second session, I heard talk of a few 59 out of 60s coming in from the first session. I started off hitting the longer ones, missed my fourth target, watched the pellet strike low, damn I thought it was 35yds
