  1. Nice video on the S200 Gary - Looking forward to Part 2. Watched your video describing your recent battle with cancer pal, really put things in perspective for me and I'm chuffed that things are working out better for you mate. Keep up the good work with the YouTube video's I enjoy watching them. ATB
  2. Spot on video Si. Edgun USA's video's are fantastic and as you say he does seem a very knowledgable chap when it comes to his air rifles and shooting in general, but I think your video did the HW100 justice Only think I would have maybe added to complete the full overview would be the chrono figures, but with the grouping you put together I think the consistancy speaks for itself Looking forward to seeing the HW100 strike some matches!!.. ATB
  3. Saw a Weihrauch .17HMR in one of the shops near me a few weeks ago and loved it! Defo going on my wish list, which stock variant did you go for Duncan? There's a target style stock available which I thought looked amazing
  4. Hull Cartridge or Ben Taylor. Unfortunately I don't know of any other people who can do it other than POK! on the HW Owners forum and I don't think he does it professionally. ATB
  5. Three words: Love That Stock!
  6. I have a brummie Webley Raider and its been as reliable as a wood burning stove but be careful if you're buying new, I hear Webley have gone bust... again! ATB
  7. Hi Andy, get yourself to Morecambe Rifle and Pistol Club and start mixing with some of the local lads. If you'd like to join then the chap you'll need to speak to is called Graham. There's also an old webpage that hasn't been updated for years and his contact details are on there: http://www.morecamberpc.co.uk/
  8. Unfortunately the Webley Mosquito Express pellets my HW100 prefers have now been discontinued! Just bought some Superdomes in .22 to see how they fair. Really cheap at £7.60 per tin for 500. The Mozzies were £7.40 for 200! I'm led to believe the JSB Exact Express are very similar to the mozzies and intershoot have them at £12.00 per tin (500) which is still expensive but cheaper than the mozzies which would have been £18.50 for the same amount!
  9. I've enquired to see if we can advertise on BBS pal.. not holding out much hope though! ATB
  10. Cheers Si, 1.5 mil dot hold over and was hoping to have pulled it off but it doesn't always work out does it?! Haven't forgotten about your challenge by the way, hoping to have it in the bag by next weekend - didn't get chance to visit the farm this weekend, just the small holding in this video which unfortunately isn't even long enough! ATB
  11. No such thing as a daft question Elliot (unless it's one you dont ask). In short; The higher the BC the more the more aerodynamic the projectile, the flatter the trajectory and the further it will fly. Tony. Great, thanks mate
  12. ...I'll draw your attention to the Ballistic Coefficiants of the RWS Superfields being 0.0283 in .22 cal @15.9grain where as the AAF's BC is 0.0310 in .22 cal yet they are also 15.9 grain so although they do look very similar, they are in fact very different Tony Daft question Tony: Is the higher the BC figure the better? ATB
  13. Enjoyable challenge but didn't work out as planned!
  14. Nice one Elliot i had no idea you were on here too buddy. Ok a challenge for you then 4 car dust caps off the tyres laid out in a line at 50 metres. You need to hit all 4 within the space of a HW100 14 shot magazine or less All are welcome to try Si Ha ha yeah it was after watching your video's on YouTube I joined the HLF. Its one of the best channels on YouTube Like the sound of the challenge, think I'll get down to the farm this weekend and if the weather is kind I'll give it a go. It keeps things interesting whilst the rabbits near me are in 'hybernation mod
  15. And you rose to the challenge and bettered it, I expected nothing less Nice one mate, I feel another challenge coming on ATB, Elliott (elliottg123)
  16. One's .177, the other is being sold by tom2, I asked for pics and he buggered off, and hasn't been back.. He change the bottle size etc, I leave you to draw your own conclusion Looked on guntrader the cheapest .22 I could find was £595.00 in hampshire, I thought bugger it, I have a new one, save the cost of diesel and have the warranty.. Makes sense, I'd have done the same. Hope you enjoy it, you'll have to get some pics uploaded and let us know how you get on ATB
  17. Love the S200, looks like a perfect tool for the job.. really liking the S200's at the minute. Good shooting too! ATB
  18. Landed at my shoot at 6.30am this morning and didn't see a damn thing so by 8.30am I decided to have a plink instead. Pinned up a target and spotted a bolt amongst a piles of rubble which curiously had a hole in the middle. Assuming it was junk I thought I'd see if I could thread a pellet through the hole from 25 yards without knocking it off. Did a couple of vids and here's the good one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGY3ryfLAtE ATB
  19. Nice one Si, look forward to having a go at that one. Keep this vids coming
  20. Nice video Si, any particular reason you didn't opt for the karbine version? I've got the HW100 in KT format in .22 and that also equals the accuracy shown in this video - they're amazing rifles. In my vid 45 yards was the limit with these particular pellets. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3EiOQRDvELI&feature=channel_video_title
  21. POI can be a strange thing can't it? I know when I used to have a Hawke scope I'd set it at a zero range of 25 yards on x6 mag. Whenever I'd change the magnification to x3 or x9 the zero would shift. I've found this can happen with some of the budget scopes but it hasn't happened with my MTC Viper. Occassionally it can be the parallax needs adjusting but sometimes its best to set the magnification and leave it be I bet its even more difficult with a scope cam too! ATB
  22. You're not wrong! I'd love a .177 HW100S to compliment my .22KT but really can't justify spending the money
