    Im not an fac shooter mark and i can shoot a spring rifle as good as any one but let me tell you its not as easy to hit some thing at 100+yrds with an fac rifle as you think pcp or bullet the lads still have to put the time in to practice I got a shock the first time i tried it mind .     Heres some thing the target king may not know (mark) but at one time the hw97k or kt was made as an fac rifle and if you ask hw to send you an fac (expert spring ) they will same as the hw80 it was only fac at one time when they where sent to hull cartridge they had to un fac them to sub 12 and hitting a target at 100yrds was not a problem to ether rifle so stick that in your pipe and smoke it marko put a hw97 in my hands of any cal and ill out shoot you shot for shot iv shot 97,,,s since i was a kid range shooting as well as hunting i know them in

    John iv got a nv range finder hear that im not using at the moment mate ill send it down for you to borrow as ill not have another nv for some time your welcome to it its just sitting in the gun case doing nothing and this one is a game changer john once its set you can see the flicker in the scope you put that on the target and your away it takes seconds mate honest it just fits on the side of the rifle or on top of your scopes its a must with nv atvbjimmy

    Take the seal off stick the piston in a drill put some wet ,,,wet and dry in your hand set the drill away and smooth the piston off where the deep marks are take care not to take to much off once you have done that smother the piston in autosol get a cloth set the drill away again and polish the shit out of it if the seal mis ok but dry drop it in a tub of hot water for a while this will soften the leather and make it expand so you will get a better seal when put back into the chamber . i use 800 grit wet and dry flynn heres one i did

    The impact is good Mitch but im struggling a bit with mine if im honest love it mind iv had to adjust the butt pad so i can get eye re-leaf strait away i was struggling to get the scope picture strait off which has meant iv lost a few rabbits as they have taken off before i could get the shot away as sean sayd the other night when we were out if that had been your hw100 you would of got them your faffing around to much with that rifle and i even say,d to him if i still had my hw100 i dont think id use the impact again yes the shot count is some thing else but a h

    Si sayd the barrel he has is fecked to but it may just need re,crowning as its spitting the pellets out side ways its been cut and re,threaded so chances are it will need crowning again atvbjimmy

    May know of a certain little twat from Scarborough that has a hw35 screw cut barrel if he still has it and the pre load may be the issue with it going off on its own or lack of it and could be as say.d trigger ether way i can sort it if the barrel is bent flynn check the stock it may have a fine split in it and may not be visible to the naked eye until you cock it chances are its been fired when cocked and the barrel has come up ill know once iv stripped the stock back atvbjimmy

    Its not just how good it is or what other lads think of them it comes down to you jelling with your kit if its as good as you think it is and its filling the bag and its your go to kit then its the rifle for you i like loads off here have spent £1000,s on rifles some top of the range and some not some shit ones have been as good as the top end ones and some top end ones as shit as the shit ones but if you jell with a rifle then its a keeper enjoy it and fill them bags it can be a expensive hobby if you try and keep up with the next lad say

    21 shot mag,,,,,,,,,600 shots a fill in 177 as accurate as a hw100 no way is the wildcat as good as an impact jeff no way at all mate the wild cat has an 8 shot mag and looks cheep and nasty to me and iv shot one did not like it at all Now the gray laminate one is a different ball game now that looks like a nice rifle atvbjimmy

    Why not make the hw100 shorter and lighter and called it a super carbine like bsa did with the r10 the mag on the 110 is a pain to load into the breach and i dont like the feel of the stock and why the hell have they brought out a carbine one when the 110 is shorter than a hw100 carbine in the first place atvbjimmy O and to answer your question deker they must of had a load of seconds stocks so covered them in rubber better than throwing them away lol which is what they should of done with the hole rifle ?
