  1. Anyone studied at the RAU? Considering heading back into education next year and the ' Bsc (Hons) Applied Farm Management' undergraduate degree is looking appealing at the moment.
  2. Can't take credit for this, but like it all the same!
  3. Any links to an online stream?
  4. The best dog I ever owned was a 28tts brindle dog of this breeding. Never let me down, would do it all and always left the field smiling with a boot full of game. Was so switched on around cover an worked well with the bushing pack. Had a serious hatred towards foxes, loved running them and could smell them from a mile away. Despite his size he could easily scoop up rabbits, Could take hares in the day and loved the deer. The dog died following his quarry into a wood.
  5. How tall them pups standing mate, looks big for 5month
  6. Any updated pics lads, what height they making now?
  7. What's in the 2 black dogs?
  8. Was down in Wraysbury last week. Wasn't too bothered about the wet feet, just abit pissed off having leave cancelled to catch up on the week of work we missed
  9. Few lads in Hinckley, and a few further west heading into north Warwickshire. Not been out that way in a fair while, used to be a fair few hare out around Ibstock/Hinckley and plenty of other runnables, you just got to get out and find it!
  10. shame that, he looked a nice sort. atb with the bitch, hopefully she comes along better for you
  11. what happened to the pup you bred Malc1
  12. saw a pair of airedales very similar to these whist visiting family in leicestershire last week, very nice dogs.
  13. 6hour round trip and 6 hours of walking just for one! Not much about anywhere and where they were about is not suitable for lamping. Heavy ground frost either alerting any thing we were about or resulting in ground being to hard to run. Plus a few cuts to the face, nearly an eye lost. But I'd do it all again!
  14. I like the look of that Malc, any more pics of her?
  15. some strange but interesting heads there lads, unfortunately wont be able to get the leg for you though
  16. as stated im not interested in buying any dogs in, and wont be in the situation where i could anytime soon, just after peoples opinions/ experiences of them working in the field
  17. Anyone ever experience a dog of this breeding? just seen a cocker x beddie online and wondered if anyone had seen/owned or worked a springer or cocker cross beddie as a bushing dog. Im not after buying one or anything just a genuine interest in what a dog of this breeding could do in the field
  18. I'll see what i can do for you martin, thanks for your pictures, i can see what you mean, also an interesting topic for me
  19. it was solid, wouldn't bend at all. if you look in the 2nd photo you can see where the hair has been growing around the leg.
  20. Had a walk out this morning with the keeper up on a local estate, came across a young roe buck with a bad leg. Looked like it had been broken and then healed up and grown the wrong way. (see pictures as i can't explain it) Anyone else got any pictures of any deformities like this that they have come across or any other explanations as to the cause of this?
