  1. Any pictures of the Sire and dam of these pups, will be hoping to keep updated and see how they get on as working dogs!
  2. I know of one that tore the heads off a couple rare birds of prey and just left the bodies, was caught on a trail cam!
  3. Them pictures are a couple months old, she was about 6 months old in that picture, she'll be coming up to 8 months. You maybe right, I'm useless at guessing height
  4. She is still only a pup but yes she is quite small. She'll only be about 23/25tts at a guess. I'll have to get her measured and weighed.
  5. I'll be honest, I have already got a Mali, just interested to see if anyone else in here owns/trains them. And their opinions on the breed. I'd defo agree though, not for a novice. I train with some very high drive, knpv style dogs and although have limited experience have worn the suit for them, they don't mess about!
  6. Anyone on here own any malinois or herder type dogs? What do you use them for and how do you find them at the job they do? Find the breeds very interesting, and am interested in knpv and other dog sports. Feel free to include pictures, cheers
  7. Cheers Flynn but i was picking my new dog up as you sent your reply. Atb rehoming the bitch
  8. I have his KC papers in my motor, his KC name is Breckmarsh Anderson, out of FTW Larford Cannon and FTW Laganmill Diva of Sliabh.
  9. He's a nice strong dog, was surprised myself when he dragged it out the brambles. Wish you all the best with your pup Tyla, They are nice little things.
  10. Cheers Joe. Had him walking through a field at work on the lead, wasn't interested in the sheep at all!
  11. Just like to say a huge Thanks to Nobjerk. Took a 3 hour round trip over to his place yesterday to take a look at a spaniel. What a decent, honest guy, nice to meet genuine people in this game and not just out for themselves. Took a walk with the spaniel and one of his lurchers, the dog was spot on at pushing things out. He settled into the kennel well, and is obedient as anything. Recalling to me perfectly already, so had him out for a mooch about. This dog hunts hard, smashing through the thickest of cover, he went into a bramble patch and returned carrying me a fox that must hav
  12. I'm looking for a spaniel aged 6 months + for use as a beating/ rough shooting dog.Preferably a bitch. Must be quite in kennel, good with other dogs, children and broken to stock, especially sheep and horses. I work on a farm so the dog will be well exercised. Would definitely consider a young dog that has already been out on a shoot day. Midlands based but will travel. Cash waiting
  13. Yes mate, deerhound, collie, grey x deer, collie, grey. Bitch has bearded collie in her though, adds a bit of coat to the cross.
  14. Lost my dog early season, my mates lining his deerhound/collie/greyhound bitch and dog when shes next in season. pups be ready next spring, its a long wait but I know the quality of the parents and what they can do! Looking forward to starting the pup, just have to watch other peoples dogs work for the rest of this and next season though.
  15. I lost the best bitch I ever owned last December to cancer and so had been bringing on a pup ready to enter this season, he was really impressing ad was showing all the right signs. unfortunately he hit a tree and finished himself! now left early season with no dog to run! it really is heart breaking! Look after yourselves and your dogs boys wishing you all a safe and successful rest of the season.
  16. when wife lets you go lamping Terrible, get yourself some balls lad an keep the dog!
  17. I rate them highly. Some can be slow to mature however I had one (brother to my pals 7yr old) that self entered at 8 months and never looked back. unfortunately he died doing what he was bred for. Preban I found that after running bigger stuff (hares/deer) they would tend to pick and chose if/when they wanted to run on rabbits. I've seen them take everything the UK has to offer, get one bred properly and brought on right and you wont look back!
  18. Between me an my mate we have; 7yr old deerhound/greyhound x collie/greyhound 3yr old deerhound/greyhound x collie/greyhound 10 month line bred coursing dog 8yr old Bedlington Terrier Malinois x dutch herder

    Security

You'll still need your SIA license as a legal requirement. Just take a security guard course instead of a door supervisor course
  20. Cheers for that Bunnys, I know of a few lads that have bull x herders that they train for bite work and i'd say they switch off better than some of the Malis. From the dogs I've seen work (herders and mals) I'd say they could match a bull for tenacity (although I'm sure many will disagree). I, myself have a KNPV bred Herder x Mali pup on at the moment, confident as anything with a decent full mouth grip. yeh they would in what you say true, my 1x gsd x grey very full on type dog, ive had 3 bullx greys before and Buck is as switched on as much as my bull xs were , he as strong or more
