    A nice job back in the countryside where i can take my dogs with me. Soon as my contracts up ill be looking for another job on one of the estates!!

    All the preban topics ive seen on these types have all been about thedogs on hare or debating their effectiveness on fox. What i want to know is were these dogs any good on the deer? Did they have the strength to pull bigger deer such as sika and fallow or were they only handy on the smaller roe, muntjac and cwd?

    the amount of damage the deer did and cost the famers, they were just happy for a few to be removed. nice bottle of something each year as a thanks was happily accepted too

    nothing beats a hack out on horseback for abit of mutual enjoyment, plenty of running, swimming, chases. dogs get incredibly fit!!

    a spaniel and a coursing type dog for me

    getting a teckel instead of a spaniel, when id been looking for a spaniel for so long. although he is a game little dog and i recon he'll come on ok, i fear he might be the wrong dog for the job. still hes here now and here he'll stay! old terriers nearing her final days so the spaniel can wait till then.
