hi lads got a terrano 2.7 diesel and having a bit of a struggle with 1st gear ,it goes in sweet as a nut when engine switched off but have a job with it when running ? any ideas ? -billy

theres loads of lads that will beat for nothing or the chance of a bit vermin control i do it on 2 small shoots and im paid in that i shoot all vermin all year round other larger shoots pay me with cash ,it might pay you to ask around mate as most gundog owners love to see there dogs getting a bit of work atb -billy

when i was a kid i owned a weirauch and shot a bloody herring gull whilst it flew over the house i legged it inside and peeped out the window to see a nieghbour scratching his head as it landed on his cortina whilst cleaning it ! i never owned up -billy

one for sorrow 2 for joy stick em in the field use em as a ploy![sorry its the poet in me lol]any ways lads as we had a bit rain the other night i decided to use the cloud cover to see what was about and i managed a pair of easy woodies and a pair of never easy magpies.i decided yesterday to use them as decoys and stuck them out 30 yds in the horse paddock and set myself in the small copse that runs along the back of it ,after nearly freezing to death i heard a team of bandits aproaching and in the next hour or so i dropped 6 bandits and 2 large crows before i froze to death i headed the 10

i own a rapid 7 [13 yrs plus] never cleaned it serviced it or anything [i do dry it when wet ] and it shoots as good as when i bought it every type of gun will have its fair few problems so fortunately i have been very lucky but at least with a rapid there easy put right and on the rapid site theres loads of help to get you sorted -the weirauch is a great rifle as is the airarms s410 but you really should shoulder a few or even fire a few before parting with cash -good luck -billy

well lads havent enjoyed a morning like todays for a long time , a team of lads turned up to clear some rats up on a local shoot that i beat on and it was fast and furious from the off some very big rats were dispatched by the dogs and even tho i told the missus i would only be a bystander it didnt take long before i was digging and even managed to trap a few under my feet at one point i was 10 ft up a tree with a smoker jammed in a hole that rats had been climbing out of . i left for my dinner and 62 rats had been killed i will post a pic up later -billy just quik up date lads i was in

totally agree with pro buck and im sure he would like head shots every time but lifes not that simple and if he chooses a body shot on a rat i for one wouldnt bat an eye lid if antis find that hard to swallow then tough shit as i have no time for these morons in there fluffy cloud life -billy
