  2. they all vary mate if you were near me i would do it for you as i love training dogs im in the process of helping a lad out with his and its getting there 9 months sit stay stop retrieve in the presence of another dog so i think it will make a canny dog [springer]-billy

  6. went about covering the rapid up with some old realtree trousers [ripped] 1st job was to make afew templates so i used some old cloth and once i was happy with it i took it all off,i noted down any adjustments and went about cutting the cammo trousers up and using double sided sticky tape i went about applying the cammo making sure i pulled it nice and tight &pressing out any creases i was going to tidy up all the joints using cammo tape but thought i would use the cloth .so i cut a few long strips and went around sticking it over any joints and it looks acanny job and feels nice and tig

  9. all depends on the money your prepared to cough up mate if its just for plinking about get a cheap springer if you intend to go hunting and want to go serious a pcp is the way forward -but theres alot of pcp lads going back to springers -not me though-billy

  15. well today was koda,s 1st pheasant duck shoot and all the hard work paid off with his training, he worked his socks off and swam out to a few ducks that had dropped in lake and also picked several pheasants up for a young dog of 13 months he will do for me total birds was 111 most were ducks-billy

  18. surely if ferrets had caught underground you would have seen signs of fur or blood on them another possibility could be rabbits being chased deep into set where there may be water lying and we know ferrets hate water just a thought mate -billy
  19. i do a few local shoots [beating] and dont get paid only a 10 minute drive but other shoots where i drive for an hour or more i get 35 -40 quid so it goes in the tank dog food etc but in all honesty watching your dog working is pay enough to a real dog man/woman-billy ps i also get as much vermin shooting as i want thrown in !
