all the cockers ie seen are like springers --but on speed or some other drug I owned a little cocker bitch and she was a lot harder to slow down than the springers I currently work . I would seriously try a nice tidy lab mate

I know of a 7 month old dog pup that is available mate pm if interested I sent 2 of its litter siblings to game keepers and they are very pleased with them -billy

a good ferreting dog is a joy to watch but I reckon a gun dog could do same job [apart from catching escapees] my last ferreting dog was a pure collie and a joy to work with in all hunting aspects

try see if you can get "benzyl benzoate" have to get it from net though and gently massage into skin we used to treat our dogs & ferrets with it years ago and results were very good

I seen something similar in an article about Africa sure it was promoting Benjamin air rifle that could be tuned to kill small antelope -
