  8. cheers mick c who ever you are -you know i speak from heart and experience it just annoys me to see posts ruined on a daily basis by negative remarks when it would be a much better forum if people just helped each other out [minority i have to stress ]
  9. yeh i put it to stud AND the pups turned out canny dogs i didnt say it was crap! f**k me some people must sit on here just waiting to pounce on anything they can find something negative about so bloody glad i got out of the lurcher game when i did! there was non of this "bitching ! in our circle of friends
  10. i owned one many years ago and it wasnt that good - non aggressive but can hold there own if pushed - used on hares a few times but ended up using him as stud to a lad breeding greyhound /deerhound and they turned out ok but much more dog aggressive for some reason -they done teeth easily though

  12. another canny day today some nice placement shots and saw a red squirrel so thats a good thing lads -billy
  13. using mk2 on saturday night i managed a few bandits [very flighty] i went out last night &used the mk1 and i found a tidy little roost of both crows and magpies and tucked in for a few hours i gave them a good old pasting -billy
  14. took me back to my youth ! loved ferreting -and like he says in part 1 meet some canny people along the way -billy
  15. enjoyed both vids but ive a soft spot for collies as i used to use one for my hunting forays -they make great ferreting dogs -billy
  16. dont under estimate the s410 -lightweight but deadly accurate and less pricey -i have fired both & like both but rapid 7 is the main man when it comes to hunting lol

  18. i braved the elements yesterday but had to admit defeat when it became too dangerous to walk about the woods best shot of the morning was 60yd jackdaw put a smile on my frozen face -billy
  19. how come its dangerous? its gonna be in loft -if it were in my loft i wud do owt to get rid of it mate
  20. could it not be a squirrel mate - if its a rat just get a block of rat poison and paste a bit nuttella on it should do the job - if squirrel get a cage trap and stick nuttella in it should catch easily enough -billy
  21. think you can get a type that tumble around on the floor [might be wrong lol]
