  1. They sell it at Murray farm care Laurie, http://www.murrayfarmcare.co.uk/Horse-Care/Horse-First-Aid/NAF-Naturalintx-Wrap-10cm-x-45m-3077sc-4556p.aspx as you can see it's not dear. If you get the 10cm size and think it's too big you can always cut it down to fit.
  2. It's generally thought that windier nights are the best but I've noticed that sometimes the rabbits don't venture that far out when the winds howling, I prefer nights with a strong breeze and light drizzle. But that said when the conditions are suitable just get out there and keep at them and enjoy it.

  6. You're from Ayrshire, not related to 3 Turns by any chance? Oh aye, welcome to the forum.
  7. As the title sugests it's a step by step book which is easy to follow. Most decent libraries will have a copy, failing that you can pick up a copy up cheap enough. http://www.bookfinder.com/search/?ac=sl&st=sl&ref=bf_s2_a1_t3_3&qi=soGO1vbifRCgvLlx09QGSb8BRVE_6124873316_1:104:1161&bq=author%3Djoe%2520irving%26title%3Dgun%2520dogs%2520their%2520learning%2520chain
  8. Gundogs their learning chain, by Joe Irving.
  9. The pup must be a dog and a half. Joking aside, dogs are looking well.
  10. That's him switched on now Laurie, you'll need to take him more often.
  11. haue you seen the dog in question they could be little more than scratches. The clue could be in the opening post mate, eg- "he had loads of little nicks/grazes on him". Sounds like nothing to worry about to me, as socks wrote, let the dog get on with it.
  12. As said above get yourself a copy of Purdey's Progress and take a look at it. As for books, Joe Irving's "Gundogs their learning chain" is well worth a read, would think you'll learn plenty from it.
  13. No needing to try hypnotherapy Laurie, my dug disnae smoke.
  14. Lower the roof over her bed so she has to crawl into it.
  15. Only you can decide, if your honest you will know what the bitch lacks and also what your expecting her offspring to do. Good luck whatever you decide.
  16. Been a few threads on them, here's one below. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/255334-portamags/page__hl__portamag I've got one and rate them.
  17. well if he sed so that must be right :boogy: You hinting that all the man says might not be true? Surely not, the man's a legend.
  18. Markbricks Kat. Why? Because he said so.
  19. Depends how long you want to go out for, if as I'd guess the lamp has a 50 watt bulb you'd be good for over 2 hours with that battery depending on how often the lamp was on. I used one of those batteries with a lazerlight [50 watt bulb] a few years ago and used to be out for round about 3 hours before the battery went down.
  20. Talk about jumping to conclusions.
  21. Well done again mate and as has been said you don't need to explain yourself to no cnut.
  22. Have you tried using a 50 watt bulb? Don't think there will be much difference and the battery will last twice as long.
  23. It says in the post above yours mate.
