  1. Always used them on our track dogs fantastic bit of kit to have we would use it for about 30 mins before we set off to the track and if the dog had a hard race over night when we got back this seems to work as we ran a black dog for six years without many problems . Some of the dogs brought straight from the kennels of others would look tight on the track the old black dog always looked relaxed with plenty of muscle tone so would deffenatly use one or recommend one .
  2. 100 percent not going to breed now as I have been given the rough dog to use as long as I want him he belongs to my 18 year old cousin and he's lost interest in the hunting game ( into chasing birds now ) so just going to stick to him and keep the old girl as a pet but thanks for ur comments I didn't really think it through as I said earlier it was breeding more for others than myself . Happy hunting bud .
  3. Personally I think you will be making the right decision not to do anything right now. A litter of pups always sounds really nice but if you are not committed they can be more trouble than they are worth. Your mates may say they will have a pup but are they also prepared to help you clean up shit, change bedding, mush up feed and help out with any vet bills as well as all the other costs incurred in raising a litter. It's a lot of work especially if you have a job to go to as well. Well done mate for thinking it through! So many people don't and it's the dogs that suffer.
  4. Nice looking animal mate but don't think i will bother breeding this time .
  5. Too be fair I ain't too fussed on breeding it was more to please others than out else but I think I will give it a miss n try get a pup next year now anyways .
  6. dont bother if you really dont know. youll just produce more crap the streets are full of them
  7. If I'm honest mate ur [bANNED TEXT] how can anyone comment on a dog they ain't seen fair point n in all honesty now iv just been and seen the other dogs and I won't be breeding off them that's for sure think il just leave it until next year n look for a decent pup . Fair play to u mate n happy hinting
  8. dont bother if you really dont know. youll just produce more crap the streets are full of them
  9. Speed n stamina were fine for what I do only go after rabbits but a few of the lads want pups out of her for a bit bigger game she was tryed on bigger game but it wasn't for me so I never did it again left it to the others as I always thought she was a bit small at 20 inch that's why I'm sort of leaning towards the big rough dog he's 27 inch n as I said he just destroyes anything infront of him . N cheers for ur thoughts lads
  10. Got a 4 yr old 3/4 whip 1/4 saluki bitch had to retire from work due to injury was thinking about breeding her and keeping a couple of pups myself plus a few of my mates have asked for a pup if I ever breed her but just can't decide what to use on her I got the choice of 3 decent dogs 1st ones a Sal x whip first cross 2 nd is a bull x whip and 3rd is a unknown breed rough coat ( looks like a bit of deer hound in it ) but a very hard dog takes anything infront of him . What's ur thoughts lads
