Yes it realy is that simple..come on it's not rocket science is it.. ..obviously they will be teething problem's to start with but a bit of common sense usualy overcome's these problem's.. Read the last sentence of my first reply on this topic Millet, if that doesn't agree with what you said in your first reply I'm missing something. Who said it was rocket science.

You usually use food at the end of the beam ?? wouldnt mind hearing how that works ?? Pernod Iv seen a few people do this, stick a bowl of food down the end of the garden and put the lamp on it, dog runs down the beam for the food, soon learns there's going to be something for them at the end of that beam. Never heard of that before mate, I like a dog to retrieve and can't see how it could manage to do that with a bowl of food. A better option would be a dummy or even a dead rabbit, do it on the same ground you do your retrieve training and the dog will soon realise

It would've saved you judging someone without knowing anything about them. Don't know how long you've had dogs or how much you know about them but as others have said just as in humans you do come across wrong ones from time to time. Well i could have carried on with the conversation but couldnt be arsed to be totally honest. Doesnt matter how much ive been into dogs does it? I know if i had a wrongun it wouldnt be passed on it would be pts or at the least sent back to the breeder. You could have carried on the conversation but the best option was to bail out.

They cross them with other breeds to add something different to the mix, in the case of saluki's that would be stamina.
