  1. lmao @ Paul  They dont look bad at all, on this photo they look better than most you see at shows, nice tight feather, would like to see a side on photo if you ever get the chance Have you ever weighed them, they look quite small. Who was the breeder you got them from?
  2. Ahh with you now.... so unless you are Chinese they make no sense Thank you.
  3. So what it is and what does it say Baw
  4. My lurcher suffered collapsed lungs. It was about the same cost, although he had to stay in for 10 days whilst the drained his lung daily...plus when they took the tube out because of severe cellulitis his chest re-inflated with air, which collapsed his lungs totally, and he stopped breathing, so another tube put in the other side and he was revived. My vets are the business, known them all my life, are a great team and do everything in their power to keeps costs low for me...even free. So i assume your costs are the norm. As a regular at my vets they dont demand money up front, but i can un
  5. I didn't, i just copied and pasted it from someone elses post...even i can do that
  6. I've been looking for it for ages in the smileys and couldn't find it
  7. ? I keep seeing it in various posts but cannot make out what it say's or what it is for?
  8. Be gentle, not everyone knows the right ways and wrongs ways...if this is all this lass has ever been taught? Why not try explaining the right way in a constructive way to educate instead of going in for the attack all the time?
  9. It was Stripes, a terrible year. It would snow then freeze, snow more then freeze and on and on, just got deeper and deeper. Couldnt even walk the dogs after a while, they sank down to rough sharp ice. Lasted for ages. Apart from good lighting for photos and the fact it is the only time the dogs are still clean after a walk i now hate the snow
  10. Sounds the same Steve, Molly (That was her name) had a linty coat also, coarse in places but mostly lint.
  11. I got that cold to the bone feeling looking back at these pics
  12. I had one...the one on the left in this pic. Although she looked like a leggy yorkshire terrier The one next to her was a patt x border, then a lakie x fell. She trained up a treat, i could even take her ferreting. She was never dug to though, she was a mooching dog, but by god she got stuck into everything, loved it. She did have a psychopathic personality, would have nothing to do with anyone or anything, but that might have been down to her rearing, i should have known when i went to get her (In the days when i did not know better) and the guy came out of a pub to show me the l
  13. That's a right bonny pup He's only 25% bull so dont worry about the threads on here, i think most of them are about a bigger % bull. With his cross, feet should not be a problem.
  14. Mo, i dont think St Johns will help with tumours luv. Heartbreaking as it is i would just cull any birds showing signs immediately so as not to prolong their suffering, and to help prevent more dander spreading.
  15. fuk him , make him stay and suffer like the rest of us
  16. Tidied up again, play nicely boys or the whole topic gets locked
  17. I only started taking him initially to fields with no access via vehicle. Some of them were 3 fields away over steep hills. Put panier bags on him so he could carry more traps for me, meaning less trips back and forth to the car. He loves it, unfortunately one of the reasons he wants to find moles....he wants to eat them, and when the farmer wants to see how many moles you have caught it can end up as an expensive dog chew
  18. So you wont want to 'borrow' mine anymore then I agree they are not a dog you can expect to work into old age, their retirement will normally be sooner rather than later, but i have to say i couldn't wish for easier trained, dedicated, hard working dogs with a passion for living. But specific faults like bad feet i have never encountered, mine have always had extremely good feet. Sometimes it is more to do with the owners rather than the dogs. you leave a very driven dog in a kennel day in day out then take it out working, those un-exercised flat feet are gonna take a bashing, as wil
