    It did appear to be an old photo Hunter but it would just bring even more unwanted attention/hassle to THL and more work for us trying to prove the age of everyone's photos. Cos you just know others would try it on Genuine question Moll, are the coursing lads the only ones allowed to flaunt the rules then? Shouldn't the rules have to be adhered to by everybody? I understand in the current climate we can't be seen to be giving any ammo to the anti's etc but shouldn't the same rules apply to everybody, it seems ok of late that a lot of threads can run and run but perfectly legal pre

    Yes Turk, the terriers loved it, it has a digital speed control, so different speeds for different dogs. although i would not advocate running two together.

    It could be to do with the fact everything is so easily obtained now. People do not have to work together, support each other to get what they need. People have too many 'rights' now. If you did something wrong as a kid, not only would you get hell from your parents, you would from half the street.     I've been discussing this a lot recently Axum, a while ago about the current need for people to show underwear above their trousers. I was always taught to hide visible knicker lines never mind the knickers themselves, and if you wore a top where you could see your bra straps then you wore a strapless bra. But what has highlighted it even more for me recently is the huge numbers of men i see standing at the side of the road in full view urinating.     Cleany, messer is a northern term from what i can gather...never heard it this far North but people in Cleveland area use it. It is not just about dogs. A messer is someone who just messes about with whatever they are doing...talks the talk but never really walks the walk

    I never said all line bred were less reliable, it must have translated wrong in my post, ive tried reading my post backwards but I'm damned if i can find the subliminal message about them being child killers You know some of the types who get bull breeds, want them to look and act big and hard. Their dog wants to kill everything it see's so it must be good....so they breed it with their mates similar dog. Aggression can be inherent in breeding. I haven't heard of many unusually aggressive bull x's but the ones i have have been line bred, or owned by dickheads no subliminal message was

    Line breeding any line of dogs who shows aggression can create more aggressive dogs...not just bull x's. That's true, but unfortunately the nature of some of the work where a bull x excels combined with the nature of some of the owners can wrongly confuse aggression for drive and gameness. Bang on ...i went to put that in my earlier post, but i couldn't get it out right in type.

It's all down to the breeding and rearing. I once tried to breed with a sheep from the rear, and that turned out messy too! So you think how one is entered may have a bearing on it's temperament also

    If your mates had/has a few and they are all untrustworthy dogs, it say's more about your mates I'm afraid. I dont keep bull x's to look hard or as a penis extension .....cos i aint got one I keep them because as house dogs and trustworthy working dogs i have found them to be the most biddable easy to train dogs going. Useless as guards, if someone approached me in the middle of a field in the dead of the night they would be licked to death.
