  1. it was just a bit of friendly advice,to try keep a few young men on the straight and narrow,god knows it very easy to stray off ,and its not easy these days to pay fines,no need for any insults were all grown gentlemen,well except a few of the die-hard poacher type that you just have to laugh at,well im back on the estate next week, and hope you have time to digest these wise words,enjoy the hunting lads,believe it or not were all in the same boat,SO LETS KEEP IT LEGAL
  2. just a friendly piece of advice lads, keep out of east scotland,a couple of lads been proscuted over lamping,they have been caught red handed with game,cant say to much because case is still on going,dogs taken,car conviscated,as well as hunting equiptment,the title of the topic is what they told police the type of dog it was,so please dont try poach our estate,they had permission ,but it was for 50 mile away,permission has got to be in area your hunting
  3. try shop about mate, some estates are a bit pricey, compare to others
  4. yes mate it is the best college for highland keepering, and i agree try keep with the grouse , pheasants, sometimes you dont get the chance, our estate deer is the big thing
  5. where we are we have very good relations with the police,poaching is always a problem but we never carry firearms at night while patrolling the estate, one call and we have backup , it seems to work well, and have had alot of captures
  6. where i am in scotland the place is over run with them in places, the problem we have is trying to keep the little blithers under control, i know we would not be to happy if somebody beleased them on our estate

I work up here in the north east of scotland,for one of the big estates with my fatherinlaw,some weeks back the jeep broke down in one of the remote parts of our estate, could not get a signal on mobile, so i was pretty stuck, now with rain falling and wind howling, i decided to go for the long hike back,i was only gone a couple of mile when low and behold a vehicle came behind me,i could not believe my luck, the lad rolled the window and asked me was i all right, hardy looking charcter he was with irish accent,i explained what happened,hop in and we will see what we can do,he tuned around an
