    Hi Simon. Glad you got your target rifle back, i think its amazing how good you are with these rifles, a true master and its apparant Andy is one hell of a gunsmith, i feel for you mate with the pellets, bloody poor show. Thats incredible value for money from SFS, i'll defo be buying these from now on, i'd love to visit the shop and watch the master at work, one of these days hopefully.     Seriously folks all these fantastic, generous and kind comments is the icing on the cake. I thank you all from the bottom of my heart I'm humbled by these words as i know how much people here put into their airgun shooting and fettling, more like a way of life than a hobby to yo all.     What can I say. Thank you very much folks I'm totally chuffed you all like it. The blue was removed with emery and steel wool along with the rust. My 7 year old did alot of this with me. Lol hats of to the seller I see past the rust and knew it would work out. I have a spare barrel worth at least 30 quid too so its an ok deal for me. Especially now that its done and groups inside a 5p at 30 yards no probs. I see where you are coming from though mate;-).     Hi folks. I bought this a couple of weeks ago from a member for the princely sum of 75 quid. Its def seen better times but it has a spare barrel with it which i've stored away for another project after straightening and cleaning it. Mechanically everything is intact and nowts missing. Had some sort of camo tape stuck all over it with lots of rust underneath. Both barrels and the cocking lever were bent due to the gun being fired while the barrels had been in the open position, For some reason the safety catch and spring were in a separate bag.     Hi folks. Decided to bin my combro as its giving silly readings on guns i know the power outputs of from a pro chrono. So i've dived in on a deal on ebay on the F1 Chrony Anybody using one of these? I've heard they a solid and reliable. Brand new to the door for 90 quid which i think is not bad. CW

    I have 2 hw80s one on my fac making just over 20 ft/lb fully tuned and with a vmach kit fitted. Shoots good and with enough pracrice I can group within a 5 p at 30 yards and getting progressively larger groups beyond. Head shots on rabbits at no more than 45 yards but would not chance any farther. My older which I have recently restored and tuned is making 11.5 ft/lb and is very accurate and a joy to shoot. I can put a pellet in a bunnies brain box at 60 yards which is making think why I bother with the fac. I will probably drop it to sub 12 soon for greater accuracy and enjoyment. Atb

    Hi folks. Its been a wee while since i posted anything but i'm back. Thought i'd be a smart arse and thin down my trigger and bnd it back to a more setback position and this inevitably happened. So nothing else for it but to make one out of a bit of scrap aluminium. Thought about buying one on ebay but a bit strapped for cash the now. A bit of cutting and filing. Got the basic set back shape after looking at pics on ebay. Next job, drill the holes A bit of shaping and then to press in the pins from the broken trigger A couple of centre punch

    Recieved the gun and spare barrel today thanks. Been busy stripping it and cleaning since 5 oclock, i know i'm a sad bas*ard Underneath all the dirt, rust and camo tape is a cracking old style that i'm restoring to its former glory. Both barrels and cocking lever were bent which took 15 minutes to fix, apart from a clean and reblue, the gun doesnay need anything bought for it. Fixed a small crack in the stock and can't wait to get the gun restored and shooting again. Very happy bunny and will have an old school working for less than a 100 quid.     Yeah i tried that chambers bits and they are no better than the original parts, Same bloody diameters also so why bother making stuff like this??? V-MACH rules, although i'm totally blown away with some of these technologicaly superior works of art from Sandwell Field Sports, one day i'm getting one. My 80s are nice girls and will not be tarting it aboot with no other hairy arsed Scots laddies other than me!! Chris.
