    I'm not taking sides, but to me that don't sound like someone who has gone out of their way to con somebody or rip somebody off with a dud gun.. Different people have different ideas about the value and condition of things... It's sad to say, but with deals like this you've only got yourself to blame if the product you buy isn't what you're expecting..     Thanks for the kind words guys. That was in the back of my mind Skot but i've got 3 new to me air rifles in the last week and the wife will have me skinned like a rabbit if i turn up with anything else mate ;-) I will have to sneak in my HW80 V-mach kit when it arrives next week from Blackpool. BTW does anyone have any 4mm Delrin? I'm looking to put some more buttons into my other . Atb CW

    Thanks for the support lads. I'm not bothering about before and after pics and it doesn't concerm me if people doubt my word as long as my experience helps out another honest person then good stuff. Malts right in saying it my own fault which is one of the motivating factors in fixing this gun. I didn't give in Giro, and demanding petrol money is not in the least realistic. I overcame the situation in my own way and now have another that shoots a dream. This gun will remind me not to trust anyone in this situation and i've already put my personal touch to it.     Hi folks. Thought i'd better warn you of a member called bunnykiller. I was led to believe i was swapping my excellent .177 Titan pcp, stirrup pump, 700 pellets and a padded bag for a tuned A1 HW80. The rifle came yesterday and on opening the bag my heart sank to the bleeding ground. An old rusty lump sprayed with black paint, the safety was solid, the trigger full of paint and a terrible grinding sound when you cocked the rifle. This was just the start. On removing the mod i was dismayed to find that the K barrel had been chopped off at an angle with a hacksaw and given a quick file

    I will try it on our new sub 12 97k and 57 and see what happens, i forgot to mention that its on my fac hw80 which has a good deal more recoil, hopefully less next week once i get my fac V-mach kit from Blackpool then its no more tinkering with it, i might try and muster up the courage to glue on the Mtc scope also.

    It puts my zero down by about 35mm Skot. I stick the lamp on now and click my mtc up and its always 25 clicks. A little surprised at first as the lamp hardly weighes anything but i reckon our more experienced comrades will be able to tell us exactly why. Maybe harmonics/ weight, both? I don't know, but its handy checking first before you try and whack a bunny at night with the springer.

    I'm currently addicted to targets, getting a right buzz from seeing the groups tighten up. When i fit my Deben tracer to my HW80 I have to turn my vertical turret up 25 clicks to raise my zero as it drops off a considerable amount even with a light weight lamp on. Might not need to with a pcp.

    I've just paid 325 quid for a good example with a V-mach kit recently fitted, a brand new NS mountmaster 4-12x50 scope on a rail, sling, swivels and padded bag. Shoots brilliantly, cheap as chips i reckon.

    Simon put me onto the H&N Ftts and they are amazing. Incidently i bought two Weihrauchs yesterday and they are brilliant with these pellets also. Our V-mach .22 97k which we picked up yesterday is grouping within a 5 pence piece at 30 yrds and that was my 12 year old son who was shooting. Good groups with our new to us hw57 but not as good as the tuned 97k. CW.

    Decided to sell my lovely Titan. Works a dream and in great condition, scarily accurate. Stirrup pump, about 500 pellets & gun bag included. £300. Total bargain.
