  1. By far the best answer ever to grace any page on any thread. ......and there in lies the problem. Producing good terriers isn't rocket science, finding GOOD homes is the hard part
  2. I've just given a nice little bitch to an old couple, she was tiny and although you can say she'd of made a handy fox bitch I couldn't and wouldn't have her on my conscience. At the end of the day they've got a job to do, a weak little terrier is no good to me and if it did make the grade you'd never breed from it, in short wasted kennel space.
  3. At the risk of putting my neck on the block I'd say that anyone who imports a Jagd has got ego issues. In much the same way as the numpties that keep Bedlingtons, they can't lay their hands on decent terriers so they get "THE NEXT GREAT THING" and sit in their own little corner talking shit with like minded fools. You may well get a worker but you won't improve on what's already here......what's the point if not money ?
  4. The only thing I'd change about mine is the colour and the skin, I've only ever had one bitch with a hide not a skin. If they're doing the job and doing it well then all you're doing is messing with cosmetics at the risk of ruining the work
  5. I wished I'd got a quid for every mile I'd put in, it makes the dogs we keep and life worth living
  6. Fair play FM , nice pups, good luck General, although I don't think you'll need it
  7. Do you remember the one we got over years back, some chap that had a pub over with ye sent it over to us,the most useless animal on 4 legs i ever witnessed, lol. That's the breed standard FM
  8. That doesn't make any sense whatsoever
  9. The Irish take their terriers very seriously, they'll have none of that Bedlington nonsense out there thank you very much
  10. I wouldn't like to think I'd have to start again searching high and low, I'm getting to old for that shite
  11. I've been there four times Pabs, dug in very good company and the only difference between the UK and Ireland is the quality of the Guinness and the ability to relax.
  12. Jesus, I'd be slashing up if that's all I'd had, I'd dig more with a hob ferret ! And there was me thinking of moving over to the promised land
  13. As far as I'm aware there's no ridiculous laws about badger digging in America
  14. If you're not into pissing contests I'd pack up and move on, the dog games full of ego's
  15. I know mate, I had the pleasure to run my hands over him and I know others that were impressed too
  16. Treacle mate, it's her last if she catches, I won't count my chickens and all that. I've had a good few digs to her this season, she's even put digs right where others have failed. What's an age but a number as long as they're physically fit and well. Good luck Taz, they were a cracking stamp of pup last time around, a credit to you
  17. And why aren't his mates taking the dog when they all know how good it is
  18. Tens still a baby,my old bitch had seven at that age, I'll be putting her to again soon at 12, best of luck. If they're fit and well I can't see the problem
