    I have kept ferrets 30+ years now, in coops cages sheds courts, and they have all had one thing in common, wherever the ferrets decide they want to shit that is where it will stay, really wazzes me off, willrennyferreters suggestion might work if you only have one or two and you are on hand everytime they go to take a dump, Unfortunatly it is not a viable option for me as i have i think around thirty at the moment, and well, lifes to short, just keep cleaning it up. You try to make places lovely for them and this is how they show their appreciation.

    You say they have been out but have not caught anything, in my book that counts as UNPROVEN, therefore i would expect to pay a lot less than the going rate. Regards MT.

    tELL THAT TO FALMOUTH DIVE CENTRE, they held on to two of mine until i agreed to have them tested, this was about three years ago.

    Hi Bobo, what make is the scope and when is the bottle and buddy bottles test certs due to run out, not being a tyre kicker, it is because it cost me a small fortune on my last pre charged and the dive centre would not release them until they were allowed to re cert or i informed them who was going to.     Reload, got to give the pup credit where credits due, caught the rabbits on bare ground, can be as difficult as golf courses, nothing like as easy as set aside etc.

    Thats all very well, but these days it is not quite that simple, you will need to get it in writing that they are the authorised person who is going to check the traps a minimum of once in every twenty four hour period, and i think you will find that i am over simplifying the matter, if you dont get this right you are leaving yourself wide open to prosecution. When i was starting out and a lot more naive i took this route, go back a week later and the customer says nothing has happened only to find rank mole in trap. , If you are going to do it at all, do it right.     Hey FL, nice piccys, not sure about the whole snogging the ferret thing though, FPO does that with ours and they aint bomb proof, i just have to walk away. Magpie, thanks, we dont know her breeding, she was in a stable and going to be shot, i looked at her and thought no way, she is now mother in laws, she is whippet x beddy+?????.     Both of the above are absolutley correct, the trouble is it is like guns and knives, the object itself is inert, it is by whom it is used or how that brings forth the problems. To be fair i can see a time not far away where snaring if not banned all together, will only be allowed to be used by "proffessional" authorised people, licensing in other words. Now this may be a contensious matter, but if this came about i would imagine users would be allocated reg, numbers if these were put onto a plastic tag that was attatched to snares any misuse would be easily traced to the person responsible,

    Heres a piccy of FPO taken last week when she was giving me a hand on a rabbit clearance job, complete with purse nets hanging off the belt, tame picture i know, but i keep the good stuff for myself.
