  1. Ferret, your last sentence. How many brain surgeons do you know called Frodo ! lolol who said anything about brain surgeons ? they could all work in the sewers for all i care, you dont have to be earning top wack to be hard working or have a good sense of community. lots of stupid people call there kids stupid names all the celebs do it !
  2. my god just because there different, i agree i wouldn't want four kids let alone 13 but thats my choice if all there getting is tax credits and child benefit (the same as every one else)then what dose it matter. hes working they are obviously very family orientated which is more than i can say for a lot of the families i see. and as for the guy who says she has probably never worked.you have no idea of the hard work involved in raising children, before i had my two boys i trained and cared for 27 horses 7 days a week , but having my to boys is much more tiering mentally and physically. i wonder when she last got an hour to her self ?!! i admire her if all those kids grow up to be hard working people with a good sense of community she will of done a bloody good job.
  3. sounds like it could well be nettle rash, a lot of dogs get it, but would need pictures to be sure.
  4. If at first you don't succeed , try it your wifes way (isnt that right ladies) Because I'm your mother thats why ! and the two in I'm signature.
  5. i would guess 90% of the milk teeth are swallowed along with food etc. some people never see any of the teeth as they all get swallowed. my hubie knocked out four of my bull x teeth as a pup playing swing ball in the garden. the dog jumped up to grab the ball just as he swung for it with the bat, he was a bit bruised but non the worse for where.
  6. honey has been used for years. i have a friend who is a very well respected equine vet he uses honey a lot he make his own lotions one of which is refered to as his magic pink lotion by his clients. among other things it contains baby lotion and honey and will clear up a sink complaint/ sore in half the time of other medicines. he combines western medicine with natural remedies all the time.

  8. That story is being quoted out of context. The farmer in question was keeping cattle in the dark 24 hours a day. There was a window, but it was so dirty that light couldn't get in. The local authority and RSPCA tried hard to persuade the farmer to wash the window but he refused. This went on for a long period of time. nobody is saying that he didn't keep them in the dark, it has been used as comparison, IE if he can be tried under the AWA for keeping cattle in the dark. then the RSPCA can be tried under the same law for many of its failings. I agree, and hope to see the persons at the RSPCA and the police officer in court to answer for their actions. My point was that the case of the farmer was quite justified. Some reports are suggesting that it was just that he wouldn't have electricity installed, which is not the case. I'm sure I'm not alone in believing that keeping cattle inside in the dark all year round is wrong, and does represent animal cruelty. of course its wrong to keep an animal in the dark 24/7 (unless its nocturnal). all I'm trying to say is that the AWA was set up to allow prosecution of offenses such as this one, the one being brought against the RSPCA and the police man who allowed his dogs to die in the car. its about time they lived by the same laws they are trying to up hold.
  9. there is a facebook group with over 11000 members calling for the sack of the store Clark. have a look here http://www.(!64.56:886/pages/Sack-the-man-who-refused-to-serve-a-woman-for-wearing-a-help-for-heros-band/171747464268?ref=nf
  10. it works in humans so i see no reason for it to not work in a dog, it is very high in antioxidants and vitamin c.

  12. have a look at these http://www.c-p-p.co.uk/product/asp/ProdID/2064/CtgID/1031/af/page.htm i have one on the shed door to my ferrets. it something they wont be expecting
  13. i am very sorry to hear this i hope your daughter isnt to upset. This is happening so much now its shocking. a friend of mine ran a ferret rescue with a ferret boarding bit on the side she had the whole lot taken in the middle of the day from a mid terrace house from a garden with no back gate !! she has now given up the rescue and boarding for fear of it happening again they took her workers, peoples pets that were on holiday. and sick ferrets that were on medication. she was totally heartbroken she had been rescuing ferrets for over 20 years. she now keeps hers in doors.
  14. “In comparison to the RSPCA’s treatment of these ten German Shepherd dogs, on 14 October 2009, farmer Ronald Norcliffe was fined £150 for failing to meet his cows ‘psychological and ethological needs’ following a prosecution by Kirklees Council. His failure was not providing his cattle with an electric light in the cow shed even though Mr. Norcliffe had no electricity in his farmhouse.†it could well be that the law they thought so hard to bring in might just come back and bite them in the Arse. i for one hope so.
