  1. What sort of trap, larsen type cage trap or the sprung clap trap type with a net, if it is the latter i may be able to help as i am about to start advertising my one on here, please note, this is not a collectors piece, it is a modern well made bought one with bait plate. Regards MT.
  2. He aint never going to fit in that drinks chiller.
  3. Ok, latest update, firstly Magwitch, the illuminator looks simular, ish. Took the unit out for an hour last night as there was finally little moon and no fog or mist, Well long story short i had 12 rabbits for 14 shots, the rabbits were all shot at less than 45 yds, some only 20, could make out rabbits to around seventy yards but would not like to have shot at them, where as on the lamp i would feel quite happy taking head shots out to a hundred yards. The Archer with practice and a bit more fine tuning will benefit my work, which was my initial aim, however it does not alter my views on the
  4. We used to go up to Hereford once a year to buy apples for using throughout the winter, they were always individualy wrapped after being checked for any bruising in crepe paper then stored on polystyrene trays in a cool dark vermin free place, used to be fine till spring.
  5. Try the vets, i think you will find they are in date too.
  6. Magwitch, i think it is because they had just recieved the bits to make up their all singing new laser and they sent one to be fitted by the local guy, totally different looking to the one it first arrived with,WHY.
  7. Just thought i would check no one is intrested before i put them on flea bay.
  8. Your right, but then i realised it was just the ex missus.
  9. blimey you caught the beast of Brechfa, that piccy could be worth a packet. We are coming down this weekend, hope i dont bump into that bugger when i stumble out the pub.
  10. David you just made my day, first thing this morning i had a twat on the phone from CSA giving me grief, then i watched these, Bloody classic. Cheers for that.
  11. Proper fackin nightmare, funny thing is all of a sudden there seems to be people singing their praise on here and in all the mags, Warrener is in this months sporting rifle saying he can spot foxes at 300 yds easily with his and shoot them easily at 200, , his real name must be Steve Austin (for those younger viewers "the bionic man"). MC seems i am lumbered with it as the local outlet says it is of merchentable quality, the card i bought it with would not do anything now as it took so long and they have a thirty day cut off. Worse thing is, it was not just two grand, as i said on the phone
  12. Coincidence, was only showing dytkos off here yesterday a picture off exactly the same thing, will try and get it off my phone and put it up.

  14. Personally my favourite is a frost with the day glo orange bits on the handle, excellent grip, very sharp, easy to sharpen and best of all only £9, and you can get them for a fiver but the handle is not so grippy. Blade is just under four inches so easily takes the bung out of any dear, bloody brilliant value for money, and wont leave you crying if you lose one.
  15. Only run Duffus half barrels, dont treat them with anything from one season to the next.
  16. Only FL could think of something sexual for a crackle sack.
  17. Foxyforce1, suggest you look at my post i have just put on about this very subject,
  18. Well last night i finally got to use my Archer from starlight of manchester after it being delivered on the first occasion six weeks and two days ago, Night vision was very much needed if my business was going to keep ahead of the game, So i thought after much deliberation i would pay rather more than i intended to and get what was advertised as being the mutts nads with all the whistles and bells, So i shelled out £1400 for the unit, then i was informed that to get the best from it i should buy a Leupold vx 3 pa, so that was another £500, . Well it was duly delivered two days after the pho
  19. MC it gets worse, have had my feet measured, now i am officialy a size thirteen, , and it is not just my feet that have started growing again, So have my ears and nose, which were quite big enough already.
  20. As new size 12 brasher supalights, bought last week for £125, Worn for 2 days, This is my 5th pair of these, bought the same size I always have but unfortunately due to a medical condition I have started to grow, didnt think about it at the time, and basically these are too narrow fitting for me now. This boot from new is like wearing a pair of slippers, very comfortable, very light and Gortex lined. Calf leather inside so very hard wearing. I wear these every day out working generally last me about two years, Can not fault them ( except this time not big enough!) As you can see from the p
  21. Quick note from FPO - Ok so it looks like a phormium (almost like giant grass!!) It can be dug up and split quite happily, or individual blades removed. Yep I believe it can also be taken back to almost ground level and should re shoot, however severe frost could kill it! MT suggest petrol and a box of matches!!
  22. Several people are now selling them on here, i know Mole Catcher is now making them and i think Gypo Joe does as well, both damned nice people to do business with as well.
  23. If you have real reason to control them not just for the hell of it, hit them when you can, because once the messers have educated them later they will be barstewards to catch up with.
  24. Ginger French, i knew a bloke in Bristol 20 + years ago that used to keep some lurchers, i bought my second pup off him, could this be the same bloke. , think he was a builder, but used to spend a lot of time running hares all over the place.
