Thats all very well, but these days it is not quite that simple, you will need to get it in writing that they are the authorised person who is going to check the traps a minimum of once in every twenty four hour period, and i think you will find that i am over simplifying the matter, if you dont get this right you are leaving yourself wide open to prosecution. When i was starting out and a lot more naive i took this route, go back a week later and the customer says nothing has happened only to find rank mole in trap. , If you are going to do it at all, do it right. Hey FL, nice piccys, not sure about the whole snogging the ferret thing though, FPO does that with ours and they aint bomb proof, i just have to walk away. Magpie, thanks, we dont know her breeding, she was in a stable and going to be shot, i looked at her and thought no way, she is now mother in laws, she is whippet x beddy+?????. She is a lovely dog, but hasnt got a hunting gene in her body. Except cats.

Both of the above are absolutley correct, the trouble is it is like guns and knives, the object itself is inert, it is by whom it is used or how that brings forth the problems. To be fair i can see a time not far away where snaring if not banned all together, will only be allowed to be used by "proffessional" authorised people, licensing in other words. Now this may be a contensious matter, but if this came about i would imagine users would be allocated reg, numbers if these were put onto a plastic tag that was attatched to snares any misuse would be easily traced to the person responsible,

Foxdropper, People, no, Deer carcass, yes, NO STALKING, NO MOVEMENT, unless the carcass stays on the land on which it was culled. Would advise that you take a closer look at what DEFFRA have to say on the matter, I could be wrong but i think you will find that the other 99.9% of uk stalkers read it the same as me.

H+J, The tang is the metal behind the cutting edge, ie, the bit in the handle, so a full tang goes the whole length of the handle. Regards MT.

Recently i advertised a BSA TACTICAL XL on here brand new with a AGS compact scope on it, i had pm,s from someone who said they wanted it, the agreement was that next time i was coming up to sussex i would meet up, Now then this is where the apology comes in, I deleted the pm by accident, , so i dont know who it was and i am now coming up to the east coast.
