  1. Try looking up the traditional mole catchers society on the web, they should have someone daft enough to have given them £75 to join in that area, they would probably be delighted to reclaim some of their money.
  2. Spent the last two weeks working my nads off playing catch up, now when i can sit back and await the fruits of my labour no cheques are arriving, just because a bunch of jobs worths are on strike again. When the poles have taken all there jobs there will be no more of this nonsence, strikes and work to rule, thats what makes britain great. So Cupid Stunt, i will take it from your offensive pm , where you call me and strong stuff mouthy c...s, that you are either one of these fellows that is in threat of losing the cushy little number they have enjoyed for so long, or you are just aptly na
  3. Slightly off track maybe, but i say anyone seen with a dog on a bit of string at a show or whatever and the dog has a 4 sale sign around it,s neck, the idiot with the two legs should be shot or at the very least maimed for life immediatly. PS, that is a genuine view not a wind up.
  4. You can buy some top quality ones from me if you are still looking, i make both sorts. You could pick them up at the same time as the clap trap you were deffinetly going to have, but then couldnt be bothered to return my pm,s after arranging it all.
  5. We have not had a tv for fifteen years, we live out in the sticks and they send us threatening letters about every six months, my stock answer is even under this gouvernment it is not compulsory to own a telly, they then say they will send someone around to look around our home to satisfy themselves that we dont have one, my reply is he can fack off, they reply he will come back with two police officers and a search warrant, i say bring it on, they arent coming in either and the press will be waiting to record this harrasment and infringment of our civil liberties. Six months later we do it a
  6. What a fackin great idea !!!!!!!!!!!, after all honey bees do not have any usefull impact on the eco system do they, oh and they arent becoming more scarce year on year are they. You would do well working for one of the BIG pest control companies, they will nuke anything. Sorry to rant, but i think you could do with learning a bit more about the countryside before handing out wisdom.
  7. As usual AL, you hit the nail dreckly on the head.
  8. Great post asusual, glad to hear you both had a good evening, until a couple of weeks ago could have given you both an opportunity to see what your individual methods can do, alas, we have serious mixy, have not seen it like this for a long time, gone from fields running with rabbits to almost empty ones with a few pathetic dying ones.
  9. This place is just like the soaps on the telly, me and FPO have been away for our hols and come back and see just where we left off, classic, see now why we have not had a telly for fifteen years, move on fellas, life is to short.
  10. Great twin peaks, shame about the boat race.
  11. These days its a bloody free for all out there, people so desperate they will pay the farmer to rid him of HIS problems etc, there is no longer any fair play, at least not from what i have seen over the last twenty years or so.
  12. Told you they were good scopes, hope you have fun on thursday, not too much fun though as i know a bloke who is looking forwards to recieving some nets soon.
  13. There is a brilliant book on this subject that tells you everything you could want to know about smoking and curing, types of construction etc etc, very good indeed, it is called "Home smoking and curing" by Keith Erlandson, easily and cheaply bought from abe books or such like.
  14. Very good footage there Richie, can not seem to find anywhere what you were using, any details please.
  15. Magwitch, i have just bought twelve CR123 energizers, and eighty duracell plus AA for £61.35 delivered next day from battery force, does that sound reasonable ?. Woodman, i think mine is more like what has happened to Magwitch as it does seem to happen when i have been scanning for a while.
  16. Magwitch, have you ever experienced your illuminator to apparently fade so that you can hardly see anything through the nv unit, turn it off for a while then it is back to normal ?, replaced all the batteries , i am only using best quality batteries, when this thing is working it is not bad out to about 65 yds but now the bloody thing keeps fading.
  17. Fish has the right idea, if we had a house to sell i wouldnt hesitate to move to france, but we havent so i wont be, BUGGER.
  18. Talking of traps not being up to scratch, i bought 50 from a british manafacturer of half barrels last season to run along side the duffus, with a view to seeing if they were good enough to use, they were very reasonably priced., Well nice springs, nice traps, shite galvanising. Several have started to rust very badly, i can honestly say that i have never had a duffus go rusty. Wont be replacing any more Duffus with these.
  19. May be a silly question, but why is everyone paying charges on their current accounts ?, i can understand that i used to get charges on my business account when i was with crappy barclays but i have never been charged on my private current account, and now i bank with abbey i dont pay any charges at all.
  20. Here we go, crap piccys i am afraid but there you go. Bought this one from Quadtag, but never used it in anger as such.
  21. What sort of trap, larsen type cage trap or the sprung clap trap type with a net, if it is the latter i may be able to help as i am about to start advertising my one on here, please note, this is not a collectors piece, it is a modern well made bought one with bait plate. Regards MT.
  22. He aint never going to fit in that drinks chiller.
  23. Ok, latest update, firstly Magwitch, the illuminator looks simular, ish. Took the unit out for an hour last night as there was finally little moon and no fog or mist, Well long story short i had 12 rabbits for 14 shots, the rabbits were all shot at less than 45 yds, some only 20, could make out rabbits to around seventy yards but would not like to have shot at them, where as on the lamp i would feel quite happy taking head shots out to a hundred yards. The Archer with practice and a bit more fine tuning will benefit my work, which was my initial aim, however it does not alter my views on the
  24. We used to go up to Hereford once a year to buy apples for using throughout the winter, they were always individualy wrapped after being checked for any bruising in crepe paper then stored on polystyrene trays in a cool dark vermin free place, used to be fine till spring.
