    (why) have a wolf x .??? the old point of the domestic dog, was to move away from the wolf when dogs were 1st made+ bred, not to go back to it. From what read about wolf xs ,is they are nervous and unpedictable animals . why mess with nature you better of getting a gsd or malmaute, there was wolf in there makeup gen back, and these dogs would have better temps than any wolf x of today Re inventing the wheel. A bit like all these posts regarding breeding ferrets to wild polecats etc.

    Mugs all the way where pups are concerned, you might be impressed with your pup mate, but your pup won't be impressed, too many chases and no catches is a recipe for disaster. Pick your victims and try your best to stack the odds in your pups favour.

    Someone asked why keep the dog to the age it is before selling it?, might be the guy was deliberating which to keep, might be deep down he didn't want to part with either. IMO, if you can walk out with that dog, it's in good nick, vaccinated, wormed, chases catches and carries back jumping fences along the way and has good recall, broken to stock, all of which the guy selling assures us it is, then that's a cheap dog.

    Total pish, we were all young and starting out once, but we didn't have access to all the advice and information this kid has. Everything he needed to know or needs to know is available on here. He's been offered a lot of good advice already, like concentrate on your whippet and forget another dog for now. I'm willing to bet he'll get another pup in jig time.

    Christ sake, how can people compare someone who has lost their job to a long term sponger with no intention of working and possibly never has. To all the guys unemployed and looking for work all the best. With regards to going out hunting whilst unemployed, I would think it would go a long way to keeping you sane and stop you vegetating on the couch.

    And most of the people who breed without papers are only in it for the money, not all but most. stop talking shite Check your puppy selling sites mate, cross breeds are in many cases fetching more than pedigrees and the difference between registered and unregistered is minimal in a lot of cases. No paper trail, no records, no taxman, no responsibility. At least the man who registers is putting his name to his pups.

    What if you're a gundog breeder/owner and you like to compete in field trials ??. That's exactly where I'm coming from. If you look at cocker spaniel, lab prices there's about £100 in it. And in many cases cross breed prices are far higher than pedigrees IE labradoodle as opposed to labrador, so how anyone who breeds their lab with a lab and KC registers them can be accused of chasing pounds is baffles me.

    Everyone in an area needs to vote BNP, doesn't matter if you agree with their policies (or even if they have any policies) let the hand wringers and the liberals lay it on about racism and not been credible. I'd rather Bnp mp's than muslim ones. If the Bnp and Ukip increase their voting base at the rate they're doing it'll let these spineless bstards that govern us know enough is enough.
