  1. Probably would help you, if your description on a certain auction site had more than 2 words, IMO. of course could be wrong
  2. Yes the ebay description is 2 words. Looks a bit small for a fox trap, get a leg in only. perhaps someone can enlighten us as how it works
  3. It certainly is a fun ol game catching the mole
  4. Bob, shshhhhhhhhhhhhh its a secret
  5. Not worrying at all, in fact feeling quite chilled it was a generic term meaning not a pest controller but a general person of society, who has a mole or 2 in the garden, wants results, reads about this 100% effective, easy to catch mole trap, buys them, they dont catch puts them in shed.
  6. Go on then Bryn, give me 30 quid and will take off your hands :boogy:
  7. I think its some kind of home made wooden or stone fox trap, but could be wrong
  8. where you buy yours from? may get a couple and see
  9. Nope I would not, I'd research the problem I have and find the best and cheapest method of fixing it. your right about folk perhaps, but I'm not one of them. Bryn did not say you would buy them, just people will
  10. Folk will buy them, you would to, if you were desperate home owner looking for a cheap fix and believe the website.
  11. Think the first question is: What are your intentions when you have the fox in the cage?
  12. Clear the hole out and add soil instead of rubble,it works trust me.I had to clear a large area that was once part of the lead mining industry full of slate and shale. had no luck at all until I started carting my own soil to the job, give it a go and let us know how you get on. Cheers Bryn will try that
  13. My mainstay is the duffus with a few putanges thrown in, they are great, but I do pop in a talpa occasionally to see if i can catch. Most of the time the duffus does the trick, but do have some talpa go off with no catch, keep adjusting what I do, a little lower in the run/ light soil/ firm the soil a little etc Stick to what I know best the duffus
  14. 9 times out of 10 it is empty, so when it has 1 in need to celebrate
  15. This for me, is nearly as rare as hens teeth, but very occasionally get excited when the talpa has finally sprung .
  16. At least that, put a reserve of say £50 and see what happens, just check out postage costs first - royal mail very expensive. Google compare parcels and there are many courier companies who charge sensible prices
  17. Put it on ebay, it will finds its price
  18. And the worst thing is finding a double sprung, soil filled Duffus as soon as you get there Especially, if your the type (like me), who prefers to only set one trap, for what you think, may be one mole ? ha ha In my garden or in friend's gardens I do just that. I'm sure that there is only one mole as I've already cleared them out, and I have so much faith in Putanges that I'll just pop in a pair and collect the body next day. But in client's gardens I can never be sure. One example produced a single mole twice, around a year apart, then thirteen next time around. Farmer next door
  19. yes I know, he is buying putange traps from clive (NP)
  20. Make and model - then can give a better idea of price
  21. He is in "covert mode" with MoleTrapper as well. They are lurking, BEWARE
  22. NP Your dead right....It seems to be the jobs when the client wants to follow you that traps are empty. Its a scary time, as I silently pray/hope that the mole will be found. After all, it does not matter about previous jobs, how highly recommended you are, costs etc, the client expects results and as the professional you need to deliver every time
