We have to match the rails in situ mate, only adding additional runs where we are taking out timber runs... The other 4 slopes are all timber so will take everything off back to rafters and put new Steadmans galv purlins in...I hate fixing to angle iron, but the cost replacing the lot would be the over the top, there spending too much polishing a turd imo.. lol

Normally seen a few round here by now and the house Martin's that come every year, I'd imagine battling through all the storms and rain has put them back a bit... Managed 4 hours today without rain, best day for 6 month! Lol

That looks stunning mate, I've an old staircase here with a nice wooden balustrade/handrail .. I hadn't even thought about a french polish when we come to renovate, but I think that's the way I'll go... lovely work

Day on the tools today, really enjoyed it.. Measured the next phase of roofing (asbestos strip underway)cut out a load of cast iron gutter, (nice bit of scrap money for a works drink) then replacing steel purlins ready for roofing .. this is a big old job, about 18 months work, only 4 Miles from my door so one I'm quote enjoying managing and jumping in every so often ...

Its funny but when we were yapping about centre forwards the other day I was going to say about Haalands all round CF play as being average at best, no doubt he has a natural talent for scoring, but his hold up play and some of the runs he makes are pretty poor, if you nulify the goal threat he offers little... Madrid stopped the service and Rudiger bossed him in the physical battle. Foden is a real talent isn't he, every other team in the world would miss DeBruyne so much, but Foden slips in to all the same spaces and his touch and vision is brilliant .... That's another one for our list, I've not seen this one before, cheers for the heads up Manor Inn Ashton | Restaurants Ashton Devon Here's one for you Arry, not sure if youy've been before but is brilliant food, one of my favourite places for a roast out (I'm not a big fan of roasts out as always think its better at home! ..) Not far from you either, you'll probably need to book though, just a bit further along is the Teign House Inn, that's really good as well.. Ate in the Ring of Bells in North Bovey after a walk on the moors on Sunday, very good food, will definitely go back

Very strict season for him mate, 3 months I think .. he was one of the last boats using seine nets on the exe for salmon, been in our family for 70 years, his dad (my uncle) is 93 now and had the boat before, he still has a couple of ferrets and does a bit of wildfowling.. my cousin is a proper river man, grew up on it (like a few of us), long lines for gilt heads when the eel season finishes... Same here on bass mate, 2 bag limit over 42cm long and lots of nursery areas... Last season we must of had 200 bass on the boat, most undersize but quite a few over, so might be working

I've said on here before my cousin traps eels in the exe, then has them smoked in an old smoke house in Newton Abbot area, they are in a lot of fancy restaurants down here and a few in London, got to say they are lovely... Conger is a bit shit imo, edible but not worth keeping...

Mate when centre backs play in midfield and the full backs are no10s I've no idea what system teams play anymore! That's a different argument mate, no way can you put Isak or Watkins up against most just any of those, but they are still centre forwards imo .. dion Dublin, Chris Sutton, Robbie Keane, Les Ferdinand... All 2nd rate to those you've mentioned but CFs none the less .. I do agree though, the 90's early 2000s were littered with the best CFs we're likely to see, When UTD have Yorke and Cole starting and Ole and Sheringham on the bench that's scary...then they sinf Ruud Van Nisteroy just to keep things ticking along lol ... Batistuta... That is a centre forward!

Hojland, Isak, Toney, watkins, plus shit ones but still centre forwards... Woods, Calvert Lewin, that lad at Luton, big lump and a handful, old fashioned centre forward..only difference is they play up on their own now... UTD has one centre forward, used to have 4.. City the same. . games changed a lot eh..no more 442!

I don't think it is mate, but no harm in asking ..I've been in the building game most of my life, "can you lose the VAT" is a normal request, whether you do or not is up to you ...I wouldn't as I'm law abiding and want to ensure my taxes are paid...but some scallys will!

They are getting played through mate, every game, 30 odd shots against them most games...I'm not saying we have the players to compete with Liverpool or City, but it feels very naive at times, Neville flagged it on throw ins, folowing the man who had no influence on the game and leaving the space...it made perfect sense, and even at our shit standard you'd get back into shape and defend from there... But... I think he will adapt and plays a quite daring style, I'd rather stick with it than twist again and start over

I'd let Rashford go as well, plus Casimero, Ericksen and Varane.. build on these youngsters...if only Rice would've gone there...
