Completely agree, although at times just to have the normality of a new build would be nice! Lol The cellar in this place dates back to 1054, it's all built on an old saxon long house, with the first bit done in Tudor times, then a Georgian extention to the rear and a 2 bed annexe about 30 odd years ago, the history is great and I'm trying to keep as much as possible intact, but lath and plaster walls and ceilings are a twat, cob walls are a twat, branches for joists are complete twats! Lol Here's a few of the finds under the floor boards this time..

Thanks mate, and I totally agree...when you come here you'll see the best "bent wall" ever in the cottage, it is a complete bananna if I'd of tried to straighten it we would of been left with one long corridor! Lol

Honestly Paul, the shape of this place is everywhere, I've had to follow some walls, but in the bathroom I've packed the battens and tried to get it fairly square/level... its been a b*****d! Lol I can't plaster for toffee, but I'm OK with most structural things, so knocking up the timber and boards I can do, saves paying someone..back at it tonight! Lol

Cheers Joe, it's so hard when the floors are 50mm out of level over 2m! Lol.. some of the joists still have bark in them! Cob walls, trying to straighten up as much as possible with the battens... the lads are here skimming now, I've got a bit of boarding left to do in one room, hopefully all skimmed by end of the week... if your passing pop in, you might get a paint brush stuck in your hand though!! Lol

He is the best right back in the world, no question imo... his pace is unreal, Rashford is no slouch but he was quicker and stronger than him most times .. played a couple of dodgy balls today thar nearly cist City though, their bravery to play everywhere on the pitch and keep such a high line was their undoing today, UTDs tactics were perfect ... said all season UTD are best when they don't have a lot of possession, today was testament to that... brilliant quick counter attacks and allowing City all the possession, pressing correctly and quickly, very good performance all round... Ten Hag has had a rough deal imo.. injuries that for ant team is crippling, blooding young players that are definitely the future but need a little time .. I'm.maybe in the minority but I hope he stays, the players played for him today, fought every ball, the youngsters shined again, Martinez showed how much he's been missed, no Casimero made us more mobile (Ambarat was great)... Mainoo is a proper talent... I wanted to stick with Ole but that became impossible, keep changing manager is a poor show, his only possibly bad deal is Anthony, he's landed with a clear out.... stick I say... Oh

Watched him a few weeks back in Cardiff, took my dad and brother.. absolutely brilliant, brought up on his music, mid 70s and done 3 hours straight...amazing!

I didn't really notice at the time as we were all up shouting etc as it looked a dead cert Fury was gonna be knocked out, but watching back the ref wasn't great, either stop it, or stay out of the way... I thought he was stopping it when he jumped in to do the 8 count... How do you see the rematch going, if it happens? Surely Fury gets on the front foot from the off, he made those first 4 or 5 rounds at best 50/50 imo because he back peddled so much, wasn't what I expected, Usyk made him work so hard though... I don't like these Saudi shows, but this was a decent one, thought all t

Just watched that 9th round again, what was the ref up to? He kept trying to jump between them and getting in Usyks eyeline/way about 3 or 4 times before he jumped in to give the standing 8 count... very indecisive, pretty poor in such a big moment of the fight imo... Got to admire Furys ability to recover though, tough man for sure... After watching again I don't see anything but a Usyk win tbh, close win, but he probably edged 4 of the first 6 rounds and the 10-8 in the 9th put him ahead by at least 2 rounds for me.. you could give the last 3 rounds to either of them, but can't see

There is no standing 8 count in pro boxing mate, I guess the ref saw it as a knockdown (ropes saved him), but either way that 10 - 8 round was the difference
