    Loving how this thread is turning out, seems our Belgian air rifle import/export/arms dealer may need a ladder throwing down to him if someone doesnt take his shovel away!     To be honest you are stuffed, Basically you are Belgian and live in Belgium, nothing wrong with that at all my friend. However Belgium is always a place where weapons and other items have historically and presently been traded through, your'e country is basically a major distribution centre for arms dealers from all over the world as well as having a higher than normal amount of world embassy 'special attaches' So for you to import any kind of gun in to Belgium as a person off the street is basically a no-go.     Went to my local gun dealers, spotted a very nice Swiss Arms SHR970 .223 that had just been taken in. After a good look over and a bit of pondering, then a stint on the web to reveal all about Swiss Arms etc and it was bye bye Remmy 700 Police, Predator8 mod & Lupy QR mounts/rings and hello SHR970. Just the arse with the 1for1 variation now So do I post and wait 6 weeks!!! Or drive an hour to Prestatyn and try to get it done on the spot What do you think? Who has ever tried this with NWP?

    I have Wildcat predator 8, no rust, no rot, comes aprt for cleaning and no problems so far, hundreds of rounds through it, oh and quiet too. Jamie G id be interested in trying an Ase compact, need it in .223 with 5/8" thread, is that what you 'may be selling'/ cheers.

    To reitterate my sale post, 3rd paragraph: The reticle is a US military ranging reticle, this is not the normal rangefinding reticle that these scopes have for the Israeli Defense Force contract scope, as this was made for the US military market, also the 'warning radiation' sticker on the eye bell as the scopes were originally lit by tritium which had to be removed for the US contract.     IE playing up and wouldnt let me post the rest so here it is: So you had plenty of high res images, serial numbers and model numbers, weas explained it was a no longer in production miltary contract scope. All the photos I sent you showed the eybell and the trinium warning label and the serial numbers,,also there are no Kahles marking on the scope as its a military contract scope, made by Kahles, with the serial numbers and model numbers and all the bloody pics I snet you I would have felt sure that you had researched and run through due dilligence with all the information you had to hand.

    Remember though, you need to have a seperate locked safe to keep rilfe ammo and the rifle bolt in, so gunsafe with an internal lockable top box or a seperate small safe.

    Its a pita to bodge a scope mount for the handheld lightforce lamps. Sell the handheld and buy the scope mount version, job done.

    Get on to UK longrange forum and/or UK varminting as well as UK fullbore, all forums and some very good custom smiths on them. I agree Border and Valkerie feature a fair bit.     Yup. have had experience with various types of gucci kit over the years. Its a new emerging cheaper product that is being introduced, they have their uses. However if it was a choice betwwen some of the low resolution thermal or high resolution NV, I would spend my hard earned dosh on the higher end NV for hunting. The resoultion/recognition range on low end thermal is not very good at all, usefull for detecting heat sources full stop or temperature variation/gradients (good for finding rising damp and hard to locate leaks) but for accurate recognition of your quarry a waste of money when co

    If you can make it work in this climate youl'll do just fine. There is nothing more focussing than spending your own money on a business project. As the director of a small company I can honestly say that at the moment product/service price and advertising are without a doubt 'the' key factors. Advertise as much as you can and use all the free methods that are going, get a website, get a facebook page, get leaflets printed and get noticed. All the best .,
