Yes 'heard of them' - air rifle silencers - know nothing about them. I have just got a Spartan moderator from 3dr Eye, very nice bit of kit. If its a military moderator your after then I would recommend the Vulcan moderator. http://www.globalsec...ting.com/vulcan

A accuracy review of my HW100 S (Tom21 may find this of interest)
markha replied to zini's topic in General Airgun Discussion
Nice one Si, once again some very good marksmanship and a cracking vid for people to see what is possible, it was so good it made me want to buy a HW100! You were very lucky having a wind free day mate, over here on the West coast its a bit gusty, so much so that even though I have a new rifle that needs zeroing, Im just not going to waste time or ammo!! I have CZ 455 varmint barrel thumbhole stock, deadly accurate and the trigger is just fine. I like it - A Lot

Keep em coming, well done, Ive not seen any for a couple of weeks now.

Tom21. All of the main contender PCP guns shoot with great accuracy, dont be missled in to thinking that Daystates are the most accurate air rifles you can buy because they arent, you will find plenty of Daystate owners who shoot like shit and get dispondent about their rifles when the kid next door with the 2nd hand PCP is outshooting them. In the end it may come down to a price point, or the weight ( I have noodle arms and the HW100 was way heavy compared to an S410) or the looks or the amount of shots. At the end of the day they are all extremely accurate, its the shooter who is the u

Saw it a few weeks ago, swapped my Remmy 700 Police for it, variation through in a record 4 days, rifle went for screw cut for mod - now back with me Swiss Arms manufactured San Swiss Precision Alpin SHR970 in .223 with a 1:10 twist topped of with a my old Burris 3-12x50XTR and a new Spartan mod form 3rdEye Tactical. The receiver is alloy with integral 0moa weaver rail and the bolt locks in to the barrel directly, very clever. Its a switch barrel design and 2 simple allen head bolts sees the barrel out in a few minutes. Bolt throw is 60 degrees and has 3 locking lugs and is pretty

Kahles ZF 95 6x42 Sniper scope SOLD SOLD
markha replied to markha's topic in Optics and Night Vision
The internet is a wonderfull and quick place to find information! So you have an SSG69 with a ZFM 6x42 scope that you have just bought? You do some digging to see what the ballistic cam is for your ZFM scope and find out that low and behold your Kahles ZFM was also not made by Kahles, blah blah blah - Full plot here; http://www.steyrclub.com/vb/threads/8852-SSG-69-p1 So for whatever reason your not happy with the bullet drop cam on your ZFM and you go searching for another elevation cam, they unfortunately dont exist anymore, but you come across my scope with an M14 7.62mm ballistic -
Military maxi kite night vision scope what are they worth ???
markha replied to megalodon's topic in Night Vision & Thermal
This topic started great, then it dropped to the normal forum bickering and nob measuring of who is right and who is wrong. Nice one lads, it was a simple question from the OP which was answered fairly well by everyone apart from member with names starting with 72 or 74. Take your squabbles somewhere else children. -
Why dont you do a skim bedding job and also fettle the trigger a bit, the 85 action is quiet a good one to start with. Have a look on ebay for stocks, also check out ukvarminting ukfullbore and uklongrange for stocks as they do pop up every now and then, or stick a post up wanting a stock.

Napier gun oil and Legia spray oil. Used to use 3-in-1 oil till I found out it has a high salt content and over time is a bit corrosive.

Ah come on, lets not have this very simple thread turn in to a slagging match like a lot of other threads on here when dogs and guns are in the same place. Dogs have been used well before shotguns and rifles were about, I dont see what the problem is, its great to see a good hunting dog doing what comes naturally. I dont have dogs, just rifle and shotgun. Lets just stop this slagging off between dog men and shooters and all enjoy what we do.

Not yet, nothing doing up here, its not ready, still milky.

I had been hearing things on a few web forums, and from some well known long distance shooters about a company called '3rd Eye Tactical', and more importantly a new moderator they have developed called the 'Spartan'. I rang the companies office and spoke to a very nice chap called Craig, I told him the calibre and thread I wanted and that was that. It was posted 1st class to my local RFD and arrived today. The moderator is made in-house in the UK in a specialised CNC machine shop working to very tight tolerances. Needless to say the quality of this mod' is superb. It's an over th

air arms s410 superlite177
markha replied to hotdog's topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Hotdog, and I have just answered your question. Its a .177/.22 11.5 ftlbs pcp air rifle that will stop a any of the legal quarry in its tracks if you do your part. The only difference is that the stock is a little lighter! I have an AA s410c in .22, its shoots very well, my cousin has a superlight, its the same but lighter, what more is there to say. I suppose if you are a smaller person whos not very strong then the lightweight will help your noodle arms to stay the distance a little longer. Apart from that it shoots just the same as the carbine or full length 410. -
I had a play with the HW45 last week, what a pistol that is, very smooth cocking action, you lucky guy to have that to play with Tony
