  1. They are simply a lighter rifle and perform just the same as any other s410, same power, same calibres, same minimal recoil, same accuracay, same gun but lighter weight
  2. Make sure that you check every pellet to make sure that the skirt is not dented or squshed in any way, even if there is just a little flat bit on the pellet I throw it back, dented and malformed pellets are the number one reason for having what we all call 'flyers ( a pellet or bullet that flies off in a different direction). Dont worry about a cleaning regime or lead build up blah blah blah, I have an Airarms s410 and its had thousands of pellets through it and I have never ever cleaned the barrel at all, it still groups nice and tight and would be happy shooting bottle tops at 50m
  3. Start with H&N HFT if you can get some, my HW80 loved them.
  4. LG & SG only good for one thing, blowing door hinges for a method of entry edited: Always wear goggles
  5. You can always take it in to Valley Arms in Ruthin, or their other shop, Gwynedd Firearms in Bangor, as they shift a lot of air rilfes and will give you a decent px deal against a shotgun. You can get them new for around £140. So your gun with a scope and gun slip I would say around the £110.00, you may get the same in PX from your local gun shop. BSA Meteor is a damn good starter gun, so a complete set up would sell pretty quick in a shop. All the best with your sale.
  6. Firearms ND, bad gun handling and all manner of stuff ups from around the world, but you guessed it, mainly from the US. Some horrific footage in here, like the wedding guest showing off his handgun and somehow his very young baby gets hold of it and shoots his dad in the chest! http://www.military.com/video/guns/rifles/the-best-gun-accidents-of-2011/1092731756001/?ESRC=army.nl
  7. Paramo is top top kit, I work on mountain rescue and we get it as issued kit. Its hard as nails, for that price someone should take your arm off mate, I have an Aspira smock that is 6 years old and still dry as a bone even in the worst weather going, if its washed and proofed correctly
  8. stick it in the 4sale section with a price.
  9. Happy Birthday I hope its a good-en. Ill look forward to browsing through your new web site too, ready for November? a fitting tribute would be 11/11/11/11 then
  10. I had the same kind of choice to make a while back. I chose the new CZ 455 varmint barrel, factory trigger is sorted on this model so no need for fix kit. Also the bolt is pretty smooth in operation. A very accurate bit of kit. The resale values are also strong, such is the reputation and demand. What ever you get you will have a great time shooting.
  11. Mick, I had a wilcat P8 on my remmy 700, tried a PES T12 on it as well, noise was about the same but recoil was less on the T12. Im just waiting for a variation to come back then Im going to get a 'Spartan' from 3rd Eye Tactical, as they are getting some very good reports: Just ring them up and tell them what calibre and what screw thread you want: http://www.thirdeyetactical.com/
  12. Whats with the whistling? didn't you get enough feedback? I thought most of it was for all guns except the BSA, that's feedback isn't it? To be honest, for one reason and another I'm not the greatest fan of Ed Grylls and I cant for the life of me think why someone would want to register on any forum using the guys name and picture, so your must be a bit puddled or you are indeed Ed Grylls, I think its the former. I do look forward to seeing pics from your lamping though, but would wish you could just be an individual instead of a Bear Grylls wannabe. Right thats my pishy little rant

  14. I had 12g Bettinsoli diamond deluxe, no problems, great gun, some early Bettinsolis had problems, but all sorted now, my girl has a 20g Bettinsoli diamond and its a dream to shoot. My 12g is now a £200 Franchi Onyx made in 1973 with fixed chokes, it does what its supposed to
  15. 32gr no6. Break neck with quick pull, if flapper on ground.

  17. bmwmotard, I also know just a little about hunting and fieldcraft having been on this planet for a few years also I stand corrected, as I thought it was the whole of Belgium not just the French section that you needed bigger calibre for wild boar, clearly then I'm wrong, my apologies. Are you originally from Belgium?
  18. ended up up getting a BSA XL tactical i must say so far im pleased with it. I just sold a Tuned XL wich is awsome.... Shoots perfect groups at 75 and 100 meter... Tuned by who? God? Myself mate.... It's a second profession for me... We are allowed to have air weapons without any restriction about power... Ask Secretagentmole overhere and a few others such as Phill, BSA rifles etc... They all know me and some of them personaly... Moley, Phill and Brummy BSA do you know this Belgian guy personally?
  19. This thread is going round and round in circles of bullshit Rimfire on wild boar and deer in Ardennes? I dont think so, not legal in Belgium as the same calibres in the UK are used. Blackpool air rifles - BAR, will post any UK legal air rifle to Any EU country that also has the same muzzle velocity limits ie 12ftlbs. And they will also post spare parts that make an air rifle high power above 12ftlbs to a person in a country where high powered air rifles are permitted, so get in touch with BAR. If you have already got good contact with 'Big UK Gun exporter ask them if they
  20. Nice work, now sign the copy and put it in an envelope and seal for years.
