  1. Looks bloody lovely! How much it cost and what weight is it? Just slightly under 1.5kg (bone in) was approx £20! Not sure if it's good or bad! I also had just over 700g or dry aged rump for £13 approx. (Was £33.50 for both lots) I've got a butcher I know down Bristol fruit market does me 5KG chicken breast for £20 and loads of cheap steak and pork steaks but the quality of the steak ain't the same to the good stuff I've had in some places. Guess it depends if you want cheap protein or whether you want to pay extra and go for quality. A lot of people these days want the biggest most ma
  2. Bought my first rob of beef following this lol Nice dry aged cut from the butcher! Hope I can do same as above!!
  3. What's the difference between buddy grey and a collie grey from those that have had em ? After being on this site for bloody years I'll be buying my own house next year and might finally be in a position to get one ? Been long time coming!
  4. Plenty of vermin only lads thrown off their permission on shoots cos once you shine the light across the field and a few deer staring at you they can't say no to such an easy shot lol ? Happened on a shoot I beat on last year, landowners found 3 sets of deer guts thrown in bushes and told em no more vermin shooting!

  6. Where do you buy such good beef ? I've just looked up a butchers near by that does dry aged meet but don't show what they have online! Do you just ask for a 2 rib joint ? Think I've gotta try that coit de bouef
  7. Where do you buy em ? Can you get em not in cammo ?
  8. I went to England once and they were afraid to put their flags up lol. Anybody wanting to break the union up is just as bad as the snp, whatever nationality. It's hypocritical to say we can leave the EU but Scotland can't leave the U.K. If they truly want to leave then so be it, good luck to em!
  9. trying not to get dragged into this again lol the no campain stated many times, only way to stay in the eu was to vote no, was an important message for the no side as for eu membership, yes didnt win so we cant say if were right or wrong, but going on whats been said so far if scotland were to become independent now id say the yes campain were spot on I hope Scotland get independence, you'll be sorry under the communist state! Land grabs, banning all shooting, surprised if they don't get a new flag with hammer and sickle! Scream for independence then beg to join the EU! Would be
  10. It may be, or may not be yet, but it's going in the right direction!
  11. I have a zero hour contract as a student. I can pick up lots of work when I want and when I'm busy with assignments etc I often turn down down. The issue is people being employed practically regularly and being refused a proper contract after years of work. There's plenty who get a contract and go on the sick tho, seen it myself many times, soon as they get contract with full pay boom on the sick with an op they been waiting for etc. If I was an employer I'd be pissed off n all! No good to any man wanting a secure job, not everybody has the luxury of being able to go into Uni or

  13. Is it one of those that you gotta pay to message people etc ? My mates asking lol
  14. Yer but unskilled labourers aren't exactly that hard to find cos anyone can do it. If two odd apply for a job labouring, one can read and count well so you can tell him how many blocks to bring, which paint or materials to go buy etc he's gunna get employed over the lad who can't read or count etc. That's an extreme example but valid. Imagine two lads come for a job, one can labour, the other can labour, do a bit of brick work, plastering, painting and wiring to low level, who you going to employ ? The pads with the skills. That's not always the case I have found in factory and ware

  16. Destroy the English language? Ai, would you employ someone who can't spell or string a sentence together properly to represent your business that you built from scratch , put your own money and hard work into ? I certainly wouldn't!
  17. Yer so dense he's a multi millionaire ( billionaire even ?) and running for power in a position everyone said he could never even get to! Declaring a business (one of his many) bankrupt when it's not working is good business sense! If you have many businesses and some are losing money you don't pump money from the good ones into the bad ones, you close the bad ones and retain more profit. Reducing your tax liability by off setting what you pay against big losses in the past doesn't make him dodgy, that's how their tax system works and many companies do it! If your business made a loss t
  18. very good point that, Glad someone agrees, it ain't a dig at the OP but a genuine question. Some people don't get on well at school etc, but if you were an employer would you give a job you needed filling to someone who's got a load of qualification, proving they can count, read, write etc , or take a chance on someone who don't have any and hope they can do all those things ? A lot of people complain they can't get a job but don't put much work in to get one. Even if not qualified you can do small course, volunteer, learn skills that lead to work. I've volunteered loads of places
  19. There's jobs out there. It if you got no qualification and no skills there ain't much demand sorry mate. What can you do that someone else can't ?
  20. ??I'm a cnut "I'm a Cnut ... edited by Malt" hahahah

  24. Sometimes having a sign about a dog (and not even having a dog) can be enough to put burglar off! Why take the chance with a dog when the house down the street don't have one ?
