  1. Nice dog him too. Got to say, all those pups got a useful look about em. Why for sale at 7 months?
  2. Ah right. Very nice, I like that ALOT ?
  3. Nice pups nl. You got any pics of the blue and tan as well?
  4. N L, is that one of the pups by bruce?
  5. My pup by razz had the injury. No hope for him really, seen 3 different vets. Shame really, as were were getting a good bond, and he was a very nice, bright pup ?
  6. Not a personal dig at you mate ?. Razz was the sire to the pup I pm'd you about a few years ago, had bad cruciate damage, don't know if you remember?
  7. No blacky, not slating bird's dog or gsd x's, but the choice of it's dam could've been a physically better specimen ?
  8. I normally take a lot of what you say in bill. But you're talking absolute shite here. Bird's buck seems a nice dog, but I remember the pics of his dam. Weak as f**k pasterns, and not the best physically looking gsd bitch that I've seen by a long way. And I like my gsd's, so I do actually know what I'm looking at, and what 'I'd look for. And that bitch WOULDN'T be what I'd be looking for.
  9. No, my dog dog was 1/8th beardie, and that was too much FOR ME! Honestly mate, seen loads over the years, and the LESS beardie in em the better. Your 1/2 cross beardie/grey might've been a cracking dog, but I'll bet bet a pound to a pinch of shit he was one of the exceptions
  10. Not saying you, and obviously there are bound to be some temperamentally sound beardie and beardie/border x's, but I know some people say their dogs are fine, beardie or beardie/border, but reading between the lines, they are willing to put up with some of their behaviour. I had one that taffy was sire to. Rubbish on rabbits, didn't even really try, but great on hares and deer, which is what I mostly did. But by f**k, he did my nut in, even though he caught me plenty. Seen plenty of others, beardie x or beardie/border, from his older dogs and the ones he has now. And almost all of them have
  11. And the beardie/border types do ya f****n head in! Lol
  12. Truth should always be told when selling livestock ?
  13. All I know, is that before plummer started writing about 'traditional' collie bred lurchers, practically every lurcher I ever saw was just lurcher bred to lurcher, with the owners just half guessing at what might be in them. Some did have a relation or two in the breeding, but I wouldn't go so far to say it was 'proper' linebreeding, just lurcher to lurcher
  14. Correct there mate, was a good forum, which you could get a good idea of the more successful sires that threw better pups than others, workwise. Correct again mate. Compared to some of the absolute shitholes I've been to to see some litters, hancocks is like paradise Good decision mate, you have as much chance as the next person of getting a decent pup, of exactly the cross/type you want. My lad presently has a young dog by merlin on the go, and he's shaping up nicely. We also know of many other merlin bred dogs from hancocks that are already keeping their 'working' owners ve
  15. Mr jones has also thrown some very good workers. Some really good pups by him in ireland
  16. Can't show you any of my mutts, haven't got any at moment ☺. This is my last post on this, now, stay off that homebrew ?
  17. I'm same age as you ☺ Put up what? You won't see me putting pics up, proves NOTHING I don't lie either, and couldn't give a f**k how kindly or not you take insults ☺ Nice bitch ☺ Nice dog ☺ I am NOT the one claiming that i'm going to video my dog talking. I think you're probably suffering some sort of heat exhaustion, unsurprisingly in this weather. Now, go and get in the shade, and remember .............. CHIIIIIIILL ☺
  18. A saluki that had no proper training for four years, and would run away from it's owner, refuse recall, and do what it liked when let off lead, was trained by you in a week. And now you're going to video your dog saying hello, then send it to me, and I'm a muppet?! ? ............ ?. You need to write a book for all saluki owners, on how to train their dogs in basic and field obedience, and, just as importantly, so it seems, also to teach them how to talk! Put me down for a signed copy ?
  19. Not a bull x fan, and really don't like those woolly coated saluki/coursing types, but those other youngsters are belters ?
  20. That That And like terryd said, don't call your dog when you know it won't come back. The best example of this being, when you take it out after a few hours, and it IS going to need a piss and shit. It will do that 1st
  21. One of my old dogs would disagree with you there mate lol. Even though he could've easily caught me hundreds of rabbits, if one got up he showed hardly any enthusiasm at all! Missed, or rather, didn't even really try, on countless rabbits! Hares and deer were a different matter altogether. He'd try his guts out, didn't matter what his chances of catching them were. I could tell what was in front if us before I'd even put the lamp on, depending on his behaviour. Had some great times with the old f****r
  22. Never mind any of your dogs mucker, you yourself need some serious therapy, ya mad bullshitting c**t
  23. A week to train a 4 year old semi feral saluki to be fully trained?!!! Behave ya f****n self!!! ?
  24. That's what I was just gonna say. Yep, salukis are as nuts as their owners ☺
