  1. It's anyone's choice to choose what they like. BUT............. to choose a way of life and eating, that is fundamentaly dentrimental to one's 'long term mental wellbeing' is f***ing NUTS! A MEN BROTHER
  2. Vegans, vegetarians etc, are like any other group of deluded muppets. Need wiping off the earth. And before any mentally weak 'sap' has a go, humans as a race, wouldn't have evolved to what we now are if we didn't eat meat. Spout all you like about modern day 'choice' etc, protein from animal meat is needed for certain brain functions. In other words, over time, those who have gone down the wrong path, will end up as stupid as the modern day 'choice' that they have chosen is!
  3. You've just gone and ruined your credibilty on here, by putting 'boy not girl', instead of DOG not BITCH
  4. Lol plenty on here that should be inside institutions! lol
  5. Definitely looks like a faint tan coming through on that left foreleg. Looks well chilled laying there lol
  6. Good luck with him. looks a cracker
  7. Yeah seen a few merle pups change colour slightly as they grow. I know he's only 8 weeks, but he looks a little lighter already than the pics you put up of him at 4 weeks, and with that faint tan coming through. Very nice
  8. obviously joking. Pup looks cracking fastdogz. Is his coat changing slightly in colour? . In the first pic his left leg looks like a very faint tan going through it?
  9. Never trust a dog with pointy ears. They are more likely to revert to more wolflike behaviour than drop eared dogs
  10. Trust me fella, I've never jacked on f**k all in my whole life. But what's the point in keeping something going with someone that's too dim to see the real picture?!
  11. Further comments from oneself will only be deleterious to the thread, so one shall refrain . But, as Daniel cain said, they are nice pups
  12. Not that hard to understand really. Again, every few months either you, your father or your mates seem to have pups about
  13. Nice looking pups, but f**k me, how many litters do you breed a year?! Not wishing to spoil the thread for others, but every couple of months either you, your father, or your friends just happen to have a few pups on the go!
  14. You are right about the gutch common lines bill. My brother in law got a pair of pups out of a 1st cross whip/grey to a gc bred beddy in 1979. Red/fawn dog pup and a lovely dark blue and tan bitch pup from same litter. Bich died of gastroenteritis at 4 months old, but the dog went on to be a really useful daytime ferreting/mooching dog. Best coats on any bedlington bred dogs I've personally ever seen. Totally waterproof and very dense
  15. I've spent the last few days re-reading this thread, and looking at, and marvelling over the great pics of these brilliant dogs doing what they do best, and over some very varied types of terrain. Only the most kennel blind and ignorant people, could dispute that these dogs are not suitable for hard work. Best thread on here by far. Thanks to all that have posted and put pics, vids etc up. I never get tired of looking at this thread
  16. Only going by my own findings here mate, but the 95k seemed a fair bit lighter than the 80k to me. I think there's about half a pound difference. I went for the .20 cal as I've never had one, my pcp was .177 anyway, and I felt like something different. Both sold now, due to an old injury flaring back up, which is taking a while longer to heal than originally thought lol. Good luck with your choices mate
  17. Yeah almost identical. You mean the full length 77? That's 4.1 kilos, the 77k is 4. I did alot of reading the specs etc before I went and had a look for real. Those weights can be a little different when actually in your hands. The length of your arms, bodyweight/proportions etc make a fair bit of difference. I'd definitely shoulder, and if you can, shoot as many of the ones on your list as possible before you buy. Before I bought my 97, in my mind there was no way I was going to buy an air rifle that weight, but after shouldering it, that was the one for me, fitted me like a glove and p
  18. The 80k and 35e are more or less identical weightwise. The 77 is a little heavier, not by much though. The 95k is about a pound lighter. I was in a similar situation to you a while ago, and had my mind set on a lightweight springer. But after having a few tries of various models, went and bought a HW97KT in .20 cal. Yep, heavier than all the hw's you mention, but when on aim is far easier to keep it there, steady as a rock. Looked at 99s and 95k, and they were far too light. Much easier to keep a heavier rifle on target, and fitting a sling will only aid you anyway, if you plan on w
  19. What, like having a proper cooked breakfast WITHOUT beans?!
  20. Personally I'd also wait til the end of september. Pup will be about 16 -17 months old, everything should by then be ticking along nicely. And even though we are on a site with many nuggets on, that don't give a f**k about weather conditions, hard ground, dog being unfit, too young, untrained or all three, perhaps he's one of the ones that isn't as nobjerkingly stupid as aforementioned members of the site, and will try his pup in good conditions which are conducive to having a positive result. Let's hope so eh?
  21. .......................... . Could he not take a brindle scythe with him to cut down said nettles?
  22. Looking back at that footage, I see two main reasons why those dogs are substandard. 1. They aint brindle, dogs which are any other colour are slouches, comparatively speaking. 2. They aint wearing shiny collars. Torchlight, if lamping, or sunlight when out for a daytime jaunt, will help dazzle the quarry by glinting off the shiny collar into it's eyes, therefore helping the dog catch quicker. A bit like those arabic chappies used to do with their falcons and sulkylukis, least, that's what desertbred reckons
  23. Give it another couple of nights, and the moon should be down enough for a decent look about, with the wind hopefully picking up a bit
  24. Yep, still pissing down here in south wales lol
