    Now that another thread has vanished (how did it turn out anyhoo, was I threatened with death?) Is it about time we had a ban on religious threads.?. I know it`s general, but we have a ban on tits, so, it follows that we have a ban on fannies as well.

    See it all the time Ray. Lurchers are fairly big dogs, and folk get feard of them. It happens, I try not to bother about it, but it does bug you .

    The slips are simply lengths of flat webbing looped at both ends. Really simple, but work perfectly. I don`t have any leads from him. I use Rope spaniel leads, and Bellman and Flint leather collars and leads for when the dogs aren`t working.

    am sure he would put bigger rings on if you ask nicely I`m sure Arron would make anyones ring bigger if you asked him nicely !! Honestly though mate, they are the best working dog collars I have ever used. He`ll make you a few thin slip leads to use with them as well, for pennies. I use both sizes of lurcher collar.

    The best. Don`t abuse it though (not that I`m saying you would you understand), they are for people in need of a vet that can`t afford one. They are usually connected in some way to a university. I think a few vets train at PDSA centres.

    Report a spade as having been stolen from up against your fence and give them the number. At the very least, they`ll know they were clocked. Only hassle with that though is that you have to talk to the cops. Never a good idea ! lol.

    yes mate, 15 year Beardie x's 32 year collie x's all together. what attracted you to the beardies mate, and what type of hunting do they suit - it might be a stereotype but ive always thought of them as more independent than the border x , hunting further ahead ? also harder headed and probably would have been better suited to the fox job in days gone by ? any truth in that? I happen to know a certain bloke on here ran a big beardie Hancock x that was demon on teeth by all accounts.. Big lump of a dog.

    If a small ferret comes across a rabbit it can`t move, it will end up dug to unless it moves on.. A bigger ferret is more likely to move a stubborn rabbit. Who said anything about killing and lying up?
