    All my heating and hot water are fed from this and a solar thermal panel. Best money I ever spent on the house. I love it. It`s on just now with three dogs in front of it, and a kettle warming on the top of it.

    It`s the old mini v`s ferrari argument though isn`t it. A BSA ulra will shoot just as accurately,(to a degree), but they are crap just the same and aren`t in the same league as the Daystate. Bottom line, is, if you like it and i`ts an air rifle,, then enjoy it, regardless of how much it costs, and what other people think about it.

    Got a beard just now, but use an Edwing Jagger safety razor and feather blades. Way cheaper that the multi bladed shit.

    The electronic trigger is a joy to use. I was used to one of the best triggers in the world on the air ranger, the locktime was amazing, and the feel was unlike anything I have shot. I moved to electronic, and fell in love with it instantly. The feel is tremendous, and again, locktime is as close to zero as I think anything could get. Basically a micro switch, and operates like one. The gauge is accurate, the shot count etc, may not be for everyone, but it works, and it works well.     Owned many bud ? serious question likes. Curious as to why you hate them. The two I`ve owned have been by far the finest air rifles I`ve ever owned, and I`ve owned feckin dozens upon dozens of the things. To many bad experience's with Daystate Unlucky bud, cause mines have been flawless.

    Handy looking tool. I`ll be keeping my Mk4is but I can see the appeal of that. Specially with electronic.

    Now that , I like. I use a billhook, but bloody hell Matt, that would be a tool and a half for ferreting and when away on the bike roughing it. Actually I could think of a thousand uses for that. Very very nice. Anyone considering this, I have 2 of midnights knives and they are superb.

    Sako gamehead 50gr or 55gr. I use them on Roe and they hit hard as hell. I imagine they would do just fine fro you on Charlie I doubt you would feel much reduction in felt recoil, with my moderator on I don`t feel any recoil as it is.

    Yup And some of the workers you have came through a rescue ferret of mine did they not ? A ferret is a ferret. You get good ones, and bad ones, but they are all the same species, Not greyhound or micro, and 99% or "EU poley" ( I hate even saying that ) ferrets, are nothing different, just a dark ferret. By the way. Yer wild polecat is a pain in the ass. Knock it on the heed and I`ll give you a ferret to replace it.
