  1. Ase Utra, if you can find one. wildcat P8 although thats a fair sized mod. I have on on my .222 and it`s amazingly quiet.
  2. My mates lad was in a car crash a few months ago. 18 yrs old and in a coma with a broken neck, shattered vertebrae collapsed lungs, brain injury from deceleration, plus all the other crash injuries you normally get. The hospital wrote him off and reckoned he wouldn`t make it 24hrs. And if he did he would have severe brain damage. He got his collar off last month and I was chatting to him at my gate the other day while he was out to buy fags. You never know Dave. Fingers crossed bud.
  3. I will add to that,, the bloke was not some "old rogue" poacher, he was a career chancer that took the piss and shot more than his fair share of other folks deer. I still stand by everything else I have said.
  4. Perhaps less folk in that area would poach if the estates allowed locals to shoot every now again instead of leaving deer on the hills because not enough folk are willing to pay £250 a day to shoot hinds that they don`t even get to keep. Greed. They would rather see the SNH guys in helicopters eh ?.
  5. The herd is massive and never gets properly culled due to greed.
  6. £170 is all the offence is worth. A judge with sense, whatever next.
  7. Just shoes, not skates. They slide along while brushing the ice. You don`t have to be able to skate. It`s pretty big up here. Many years ago, every big farmhouse or estate house has a curling pond. Loads of farmers play. Jim just plays cause he saw the chicks playing at the olympics . That and the after game drinks.
  8. Fekin Robin Hood me !. hahaha.
  9. May not be as firm a sighting as I thought, but the guys adamant it`s a Munty.
  10. Hearing something about a Munty run over in East Lothian. Could be true, ? If it is, it`s going to be interesting.
  11. Metal detecting would be a good crack. Quite fancy giving it a blast. Road cycling for me. That and a bit of diving and motorbikes / scooters. Have to say though, I`ve tried nearly everything ! can`t stand the idea of dying without having tried as much as I possibly can.

  13. Byron, you travelling ? What you in bud ? Always promised I`d do the live in van thing and bugger off.
  14. They haven't been legally released nobody knows how they got there ...... My mistake, I though this was the English version of the Scottish experiment to release them. Hmm, sounds iffy then, who would do such a thing ?? they cannae run, so that rules the lurcher boys out !
  15. They have also been legally released so are not classed as invasive. Would make a nice hat though Darcy !! tut tut ! drug related avatars ? whatever next!

  18. Lab. Give me a bell I`ll run you through the system I have. The solar panel is superb, I have a gas boiler fitted, and had it turned of for 3 months during the summer. Everything came from the solar panel. The boiler stove is ace. Chews the wood likes, but I`m a fekin magpie with chainsaw, so my entire fuel bill for this winters heating/ hot water was £50, and that was on Peat
  19. the best part of the installation was the solar thermal panel bud. Hot water for showers from the sun. Brilliant
  20. Old ash lagoons from a power station bud. Been turned into a wildlife reserve. There are a coupla sites like that around me, the ash lagoons make a great meadow.
  21. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-south-east-wales-30975272 Future doesn`t look bright for him which is a shame , as I always thought he was an interesting bloke with a hell of a story to tell. I know what he was, but hey ho, he never struck me as a an evil bloke.
