    i was fishing on a boat in africa ,a load of chinese came aboard , several of them spent ages bringing cooking pots & woks aboard , they ate everything they caught that day fish as small as 2" they waste nowt them lot

    i questioned on here about vets charges & was shot down a while ago , im no lover of them , BUT after they worked on my bitch i can honestly say it saved her life (and mine ) all the younger vets & assistants kept banging on about she needs this she needs that money money money like no tomorrow , in the end i talked to a lady manager there who understood my financial arrangements (broke ) she was a star ,she worked miracles for us i only got a free 24 hrs on the drip & treatment for the bitch of mine but it really did put her back on the road to full recovery , so im indebted to t

    I've been wondering what the hunting is like in Australia for a while and looking into bricklaying and living there. I'm going to wait a few more years to see what happens but defiantly believe between migrants and corrupt politicians this country is f****d. its a fantastic country .a mans place ,. but ... you think things are expensive here .. crazy costs of liveing & prices in oz ,i found the only thing cheaper was petrol & meat everything else is exorbitant prices

    cracking birds there fireman lovely pics , in my aviary i put a trellis on the back wall side & you know the tall pale grasses that grow on motorways etc in the winter i cut it down ,about 2ft lengths & stuffed it into the trellis to form a grass wall , every bird nested in it , like it was natural , best thing i ever did

    i will post some pics up in the spring when everything buds up, cotoneaster are very simple to do & look lovely with the berries on ,i have seen 3ft beech trees going for £90 on ebay

    i would get a proper trained guard dog on a long chain near the gate , that will keep most from entering ,but if the plot is open you will allways get flybynite thieveing gits around , one farm i delivered straw to in the middle of nowhere had his full house furniture stolen while he was out , he has an alsation chained outside both front & back doors now

    There's a good reason why they say fish crab until June. Male crabs will start moulting any time from now on reaching a peak around the beginning to the middle of April then tailing off, by the middle of may they have just about finished. Once the cocks have finished moulting the hens then start moulting once the water has reached the right temperature. The hen flush is usually over in about month with the middle of June being the best time. Which happens to coincide with the Bass finishing spawning and turning their attention away from sex and on to food. Crab are then the most plentiful

    bollocks , the terrier i had for bolting wasnt a killing bitch but it mixed it & stuck with the fox untill bolted or we dug her , i also had a kennel full of dogs which if you couldnt dig the place you didnt put the dogs in !, everyone of them on meeting the fox killed it in a breath , so is it a bolter or a stayer ???

    good going that krawnden, i love to fish live eels/mackeral/prawns ive done years on the peeler crab i travel light as possible now ,the locals say crab untill june then the fish start looking uptowards baitfish , i use plugs year round , rag crab lug anything will catch them its just being in the right place at the right times ,sometimes they are suicidal & ive seen them caught on feathers & small pirks spinners can be lethal
