  10. Saluki whippet greyhoundxcollie greyhound bull greyhound Stop doesn't seem to be an option. Only thing I had to watch was the dog would hunt on when injured
  11. Yea its a slow thing.Lot of stuff is marked then nailed in the seat
  12. Awouldnt be lookingfor a large bag of rabbits on a mooch. Just getting lost in the moment and maybe summat for tea in the week would suffice
  13. Fair play mate we all got our own way. Its great with a lurcher and terrier and maybe a little bolting ferret and a pocket full of nets.
  14. Moochin to me would be likened to one dog one man combo boardering on a sublime passion to work together .as a team. Its got to be one of the most fulftlling forms of hunting for the pot
  15. No problem there mate retrieve of water and jump a gate with game still in the mouth. Then straight to hand un trained awesome really
  16. A good moochin dog will keep you in fur feather and eggs. Temprement nose and an inbuilt instinct to please are high on the list of qualities. Best I ever saw had lab blood in it
  17. Ilike small nets when working inside hedges
  18. Love the trads you have so much more mobility and less weight to carry around
  19. Same thing happened to my dog I put it down to total lack of runs on the lamp Also running him in tandem with a lad who was using an air rifle Didn't like the gun so when he caught one he would bugger off then come back without the rabbit Cant stand competition from other dogs aswell seems to hunt for himself when other dogs are on the scene I decided to take him on is own ferreting. He bonded up lovely .Marked up stayed close on. Kept back from the holes aswell but what really impressed me was when a rabbit came to the net, instead of running in he waited until it was clear
  20. Last season a rabbit hit the net and the dog ran up to it .The ferret followed the rabbit out and latched onto the side of the dogs jowl. It was hanging there up to its gums. The dog never yelped or made an attempt to remove the ferret. He just looked at me with a very sad expression. I went over to him and I had to choke the ferret off. I thought it very respectful he knew that ferret was a valued member of the team
