That's it exactly, I have a couple of fields within a minutes walk of my house that 20 years ago were loaded with rabbits, now they flood big time most years so no hope. If it was a case of good land that had been wiped out by mixy I might be tempted to give it a go.
If you do decide to go for it bigad just do it discreetly.

Not the first time this has happened to the conservatives, even the dogs are waking up to their bs http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/news/midlands-news/dog-bites-conservative-councillor-bob-6501242
Game of thrones season 5 starts in 2 days time, other than that though tv is pretty bad, I find myself watching dvds more than tv.
I have been watching Hannibal on sky boxsets, good series well worth a look.
I prefer hobs, they seem a bit more determined to shift or kill rabbits to me, they can also take a kicking better than a jill, of course they don't pass through purse nets like jills but you cant have everything.
How do you catch the bolters Owen? I remember reading about baked bean cans with both ends cut off and one leg of a pair of tights attached to one end.
Had a big outbreak of ticks on my ferrets once after chucking in a crow that I had shot, I freeze most of what I feed now to kill any passengers. The tick removal tool mentioned above works really well as does frontline, shame you need a prescription for frontline spray now.
The removal of the scent gland is illegal in the UK I think. Ive only met one castrated hob but he had very little smell. As for the hutch smell just clean the crap corner out daily and it shouldn't be a problem.
I don't find keeping weight down in the summer months a problem, they naturaly put on a little bit of weight in the winter and lose it in the summer. Obviously they will still need a bit of exercise and mental stimulation when theyre not working.
It did seem weird that she didn't seem at all upset about the alleged touchy feely. Realy not sure who was telling the truth there.
Was better than most of the shite on tv I suppose.
Picked the first wild garlic of the season a couple of hours ago, cut it up nice and fine mixed it with minced beef and made a couple of burgers. What do you do with yours?
Looked like Paul finaly came up with a plan to kill a boar that could work and he gets chucked out for groping unbelievable. I think tonights episode is the last?
I must admit I can see the sense in breeding a litter and culling the kits you don't want. Its going to be easier on the jill having only a couple of kits to care for and you wont have to worry about where your kits end up. Buying ferrets in is ok but a lot of people will just breed from any ferret they have regardless of its working ability.
