    I think the video above is one of the easiest to learn from, its the one I used. I didnt find the book "Net Making For Sport" anything more than inspirational, crap really. Riggers Beware!!! Making purse nets may lead to making poke nets, fox nets, stop nets and bloody long nets!

    I wasnt there long enough to remember their names, nevermind nick names. There was one teacher who was sound, Ed Lyons, science teacher, who kept BOP and done a bit of beating and such. Also ran the school fishing club I was in. He used to bring me in infertile partridge and pheasant eggs by the tray, got some good swaps off my mates due to him. I hope he`s still going, sound geezer.

    No point the bus picking them up Tomo if the schools closed I know what you mean though. We live right near the coast. Its like a liverpudlian Summer most of the time. When the uk gets snow, we normally dont get any. But we got a txt off the school on Thursday night to say school would more than likely be closed Friday, we hadn`t even had any snow at this point. Takes the Micheal.

    Hi All. Does kydex stick to itself once heated and moulded or is that why most kydex stuff has rivets in it, because it doesn`t? Got some beige kydex and eyelets coming for a small neck knife sheath..

    I f*****g hated my commadore. Never really got into computer games after that. Funniest one was seeing my 2 year old brother put the still plugged in, ac power lead of a master system in his mouth. I can still remember the little dance he done on the spot.

    Is`nt that how to finish a net, not how to shorten it?. Bit of confusion here.... When you`ve knitted say 5 yards of diamond mesh and you want to shorten it, so you can carry on, you loop a cord through and back on to the anchor point it goes, making sure it goes through each mesh. Now, the square mesh is started from a corner, and your working in diagonal rows. How do you gather it up to shorten it and still get it to hang from a corner? It looks like all the weight of the now forming net is hung on the one mesh on which the net was started, unlike a diamond meshed net, which has several
