    i find you need a lot more patience and understanding with them than some other crosses and tbh there are some people that would never tolerate the way they are . but when you are on the same wave length as them they make a great companion and hunting dog .ps you still need the patience of a saint compared to some other crosses .and do not or never will suit certain owners .

    just finished reading a book THE ICEMAN a true story about a mafia hitman very good read he makes the krays and otheres mentioned look like angels .well worth a read now this bloke really knew how to inflict pain misery and death quickly or in a lot of cases very slowly . dont want to spoil the book but if he disliked them he would tie them up in a cave torture them and video rats eating them alive .

    years ago we used to make them out of sprung steel make 2 triangle shapes ansd bend one end in a hook so straight peice hooks in to the hook stich a peice of webbing we used car seat beltsand hang over your shoulder triangle carrier each side worked great at the time .mind you nowadays dont catch enough to warrant carrying a carrier lol.

    used to run a deerhound x grehound bitch dave platt bred ,bought her at 6 week old made a very good hare bitch on feild and fen . used to run her against saluki crosses in the club and always held her own .good bitch on rabbits aswell as hares but wouldnt look at big stuff .

    just lost my 10 month old well bred pup slipped her in with my old dog after he had tied it up, and fresh one got up and she went on that broke her leg and torn tendons after flipping over when striking for it,.i would never have slipped her on her own,. but sometimes shit happens like fresh hare getting up in front of her but it could easily have happened regardless of age

    QUESTION i dont know anyone who would prefer their child to end up gay but if it was a choice between gay or a pumped up junkie i know which i would prefera child of mine to be . .mind imagine having one that was both ,now thats a feckin nightmare lol.

    as my old granny used to say as she was bringing me up if you cant think of anything good to say about someone best to say nothing at all. and another she used to say was never speak ill of the dead / a lot of sence in these old folks sayings me thinks .
